In other news, I have the best MIL in the world. She collected my list and bought every single item on it, top of the shelf items at that. So I'm done shopping without sweat Kikikiki. God is too much.

Good you are done with baby shopping. I av a box of tins my mum bought for me in Nig but only asked hubby to pick few baby clothes last time he went to Nig. I can't walk around much for shopping so my husband already said just give me list and I don't want you buying tins u don't need. I too don't want to buy much tins but I trust he will buy nice tins. Will ask my MIL to get the rest of tins I wil need b4 we get back to Nig. Looking forward to safe delivery first.

I came back with my one month baby girl this week o. Bikonu my LO has this whitish thing from her eyes. I read about breast milk. It didn't work o. Was scared of seeing more doctors in obodo oyinbo

What should I do sabi mamas. Then before I came back, alll the post delivery pain came back. My hip bones hurt like I just born . Wat do I do cos am walking like old woman.

Third issue,my mum has refused to tie my tummy cos of d big fibroid . How will my tummy go down??. Do I press hot water on the tummy?

Waooo, longest time. Since I resumed I have been here to even peep. Chai, come in late n. Leave early. It came to a point I told my boss I wanna resign. He never agreed, after a week i went again to tell him I can't cope and he begged again but gave me softer terms and less working hours. First day with that was cool.

God has been good to us.

Thank God tommorow n next is public holiday so I can sleep late n wake up late.

at Gbagada general hospital the nurses suggests to any body who is going for cs to opt for the one without scar but its a little costlier that the one with a scar.

So cs dey wen no get scar? That nurse must have used a layman english. Don't mind her unprofessional choice of words.

@lilybestie pls take at least 4 clothes especially if you are a first timer, most nigerian hospitals wont leave you the ff day, you might leave on the 3rd and baby will do change of clothes at least twice

Pls Shout aye if you hear your name, don't forget to update with your baby's gender and EDD if you haven't done so. I'm sure we are all doing okay but just wanna be double sure.

As we gallantly step into the 3rd trimester, my prayer is that it will be easier than the first two. But let's help ourselves by minimising bending (I'm guilty of this one ), eating right, not just large volumes of high carb foods but nutritious foods in moderate quantities (fruits, veggies, smoothies and fluids)

Let's remember that our LOs are rapidly adding weight at this stage so don't be too shocked if when you step on that scale, what you see surprises you. Who's neck is getting darker? Nose getting wider? Milk factory getting bigger? Shortness of breath especially after climbing the stairs? _{Kpekusing getting clumsier?} It's all part of the package so let's embrace it with joy because very soon, we will miss pregnancy days, the kicks, LO turning and flipping inside us and the likes.

How's the shopping going? God's provision will never cease in our homes and may we never lack all we need to take care of our little ones, Amen.

Whatever we can buy before we hit the 35th week mark let's try and get because we never can tell when LO will decide to come. Though we pray our babies come when God says. Now is also the time to seriously start looking into the various birth plans our respective hospitals have planned out for pregnant women. The internet is there to watch videos and prep our minds. Also, let's learn from other mum's past experiences...

Let's feel free to come in here and ask questions, read birth stories and wish other mamas well as they put to bed. May others rejoice with us too when it's our time

Welcome back dear and sorry about the pains. They returned as a result of stress ; u know you did all the wakabout alone. I suffered same wen I returned with my son. Now dat you are home, u need massage and absolute rest! I'm sure you have people to help you; don't lift a pin. You have not healed from the pains of childbirth. Eat, sleep and rest well.

For your baby, you might need to see a paed. Hope you've given her BCG?

All will be well jare, just take it easy and reduce bending as well

I didn't tie my belle o, so I've got no idea

it's normal for baby girls to have discharge. It's because of the maternal hormone still present in the body .it will clear off over time. Some babies breast even produce milk. Don't press or fret it. It will go once the hormones start clearing off in a few months
