UCAP Q2 2016 result came out on 13 JULY and there was no Dividend or Bonus declared

they don't know what they are saying. UCAP already released Q2 and the result was unaudited. So how is the interim dividend going to come? In Q3 or Q4? plus, I don't think ucap has ever paid interim dividend.

The equity price of UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA PLC was adjusted on 12th of September 2016 for an interim dividend of N0.20 as declared by the board of directors. The last close price was N4.51, hence the ex-div price N4.31. Please note that the closure date was 12th of September, 2016. However, following the two-day public holidays, the adjustment took effect today 14th of September 2016 which is the next trading date. Please be guided accordingly.

This TRANSCORP need to get to #0.80k... That will be a good entry mop up price for the smart investors...

I beg to differ but the drag down is based on the fact that dividend is not expected anytime soon and also the price will rise again as soon as Q3 result is released.

In this market we've seen stocks with bad or no result rally while those with good dip, how do we explain that?

Well, for whatever reasons, there's a strong bias to sell and that's dragging down the price. If it tarries i may have to exit and re-enter for both FCMB n DIAMOND.
