Anything that refuses to glorify GOD or exalt Him is of Satan.

The JW's teach that the Holy Spirit of GOD is only a force.

Jesus says when the Holy Spirit comes, He will guide us into all truth. (Jn. 16:13). Why did Jesus use "He" to qualify the Holy Spirit? Why didn't Jesus use it?

Jesus says the Holy Spirit will comfort. Can anything other than an Intellingent Being comfort? Can a force comfort?

The Spirit spoke to Philip (Acts 8:29). Can a force speak?

The Scriptures were inspired by the Spirit of GOD. (2 Pet. 1:21.) Can a force inspire? Then that force must be alive.

Jesus says that blaspheming the Holy Spirit is a terrble sin.(Matt. 12:31,32) By definition, blasphemy is a contemptuous or profane act, utterance or writing against GOD. If the Holy Spirit is not GOD, how then can you blaspheme Him? Can you blaspheme a force?

GOD sent othniel too as a saviour to Israel. We know Othniel had no power to save anybody of his own. GOD only wrought mighty works through him.

Since GOD sent Jesus, are you saying that Jesus Christ has no power to save anybody of His own, just like othniel?
King James Bible(acts 10:38)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

* the verse did not say God was with himself
* the verse did not say God anointed himseLf with power!

King James Bible
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.[/color]

*note that jesus was given!

when jesus was on earth dId he do anything on his own ? no, he did what his God had taught and told him to do!, he came to do the fathers will.

Isa 42:1Look! My servant, whom I support! My chosen one, whom I have approved! I have put my spirit in him; He will bring justice to the nations.

Ac 5:31God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
*God used jesus to save mankind!

Isa 53:11Because of his anguish, he will see and be satisfied. By means of his knowledge the righteous one, my servant, Will bring a righteous standing to many people, And their errors he will bear.

u jst quoting without understanding whats clearly stated....let me hit u with this..... The Bible’s answer
The holy spirit is God’s power in action, his active force. (Micah 3:8; Luke 1:35 ) God sends out his spirit by projecting his energy to any place to accomplish his will.— Psalm 104:30; 139:7 .
In the Bible, the word “spirit” is translated from the Hebrew word ruʹach and the Greek word pneuʹma. Most often, those words refer to God’s active force, or holy spirit. (Genesis 1:2 ) However, the Bible also uses those words in other senses:
Breath.— Habakkuk 2:19; Revelation 13:15 .
Wind.— Genesis 8:1; John 3:8 .
The vital, or animating, force in living creatures.— Job 34:14, 15 .
A person’s disposition or attitude.—
Numbers 14:24 .
Spirit persons, including God and the angels.— 1 Kings 22:21; John 4:24 .
These meanings all share the sense of something invisible to humans that produces visible effects. Similarly, the spirit of God, “like the wind, is invisible, immaterial and powerful.”— An Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, by W. E. Vine.
The Bible also refers to God’s holy spirit as his “hands” or “fingers.” (Psalm 8:3; 19:1; Luke 11:20 ; compare Matthew 12:28 .) Just as a craftsman uses his hands and fingers to do his work, God has used his spirit to produce such results as the following:
The universe.— Psalm 33:6; Isaiah 66:
1, 2 .
The Bible.— 2 Peter 1:20, 21 .
The miracles performed by his ancient servants and their zealous preaching.—
Luke 4:18; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:
4-11 .
The fine qualities displayed by people who obey him.— Galatians 5:22, 23 .
The holy spirit is not a person
By referring to God’s spirit as his “hands,” “fingers,” or “breath,” the Bible shows that the holy spirit is not a person. (Exodus 15:
8, 10 ) A craftsman’s hands cannot function independent of his mind and body; likewise, God’s holy spirit operates only as he directs it. ( Luke 11:13 ) The Bible also compares God’s spirit to water and associates it with such things as faith and knowledge. These comparisons all point to the impersonal nature of the holy spirit.— Isaiah 44:3; Acts 6:5; 2 Corinthians 6:6 .
The Bible gives the names of Jehovah God and of his Son, Jesus Christ; yet, nowhere does it name the holy spirit. (Isaiah 42:8; Luke 1:31 ) When the Christian martyr Stephen was given a miraculous heavenly vision, he saw only two persons, not three. The Bible says: “He, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand.” (Acts 7:55 ) The holy spirit was God’s power in action, enabling Stephen to see the vision.
Misconceptions about the holy spirit
Misconception: The “Holy Ghost,” or holy spirit, is a person and is part of the Trinity , as stated at 1 John 5:7, 8 in the King James version of the Bible.
Fact: The King James version of the Bible includes at 1 John 5:7, 8 the words “in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth.” However, researchers have found that those words were not written by the apostle John and so do not belong in the Bible. Professor Bruce M. Metzger wrote: “That these words are spurious and have no right to stand in the New Testament is certain.”— A Textual Commentary on the Greek New Testament.
Misconception: The Bible personifies the holy spirit, and this proves that it is a person.
Fact: The Scriptures do at times personify the holy spirit, but this does not prove that the holy spirit is a person. The Bible also personifies wisdom, death, and sin. (Proverbs 1:20; Romans 5:17, 21 ) For example, wisdom is said to have “works” and “children,” and sin is depicted as seducing, killing, and working out covetousness.— Matthew 11:19; Luke 7:
35; Romans 7:8, 11 .
Similarly, when the apostle John quoted Jesus, he personified the holy spirit as a “helper” (paraclete) that would give evidence, guide, speak, hear, declare, glorify, and receive. He used masculine personal pronouns such as “he” or “him” when referring to that “helper.” (John 16:
7-15 ) However, he did so because the Greek word for “helper” (pa·raʹkle·tos ) is a masculine noun and requires a masculine pronoun according to the rules of Greek grammar. When John referred to the holy spirit using the neuter noun pneuʹma, he used the genderless pronoun “it.”— John 14:16, 17 .
Misconception: Baptism in the name of the holy spirit proves that it is a person.
Fact: The Bible sometimes uses “name” to stand for power or authority. (Deuteronomy 18:5, 19-22; Esther 8:10 ) This is similar to its use in the English expression “in the name of the law,” which does not mean that the law is a person. A person who is baptized “in the name of ” the holy spirit recognizes the power and role of the holy spirit in accomplishing God’s will.— Matthew 28:19 .
Misconception: Jesus’ apostles and other early disciples believed that the holy spirit was a person.
Fact: The Bible does not say that, nor does history. The Encyclopædia Britannica
states: “The definition that the Holy Spirit was a distinct divine Person . . . came at the Council of Constantinople in ad 381.” This was over 250 years after the last of the apostles had died.
please point out your assertion from these, using/quoting the Bible as reference precisely when needed and stop all these historian beliefs formulated by your watch tower leaders, mind you it should be concise and just. Then we talk.

the holy spirit is Gods power to achieve his purpose.....angels in the bible can be referred to as spirits!!!! Both the Hebrew mal·ʼakhʹ and the Greek
agʹge·los literally mean “messenger.” From the first book of the Bible to the last, these words occur nearly 400 times. When spirit messengers are indicated, the words are translated “angels,” but if the reference definitely is to human creatures, the rendering is “messengers.” (
; see MESSENGER .) However, in the highly symbolic book of Revelation certain references to ‘angels’ may apply to human creatures.—
.
Angels are sometimes termed spirits; that which is spirit is invisible and powerful. Thus we read: “A spirit came out and stood before Jehovah”; “Are they not all spirits for public service?” (
) Having invisible spiritual bodies, they make their abode “in the heavens.” ( ) They are also termed “sons of the true God,” “morning stars,” and “holy myriads” (or “holy ones”.Definition: The Hebrew word ruʹach and the Greek pneuʹma, which are often translated “spirit,” have a number of meanings. All of them refer to that which is invisible to human sight and which gives evidence of force in motion. The Hebrew and Greek words are used with reference to (1) wind, (2) the active life-force in earthly creatures, (3) the impelling force that issues from a person’s figurative heart and that causes him to say and do things in a certain way, (4) inspired utterances originating with an invisible source, (5) spirit persons, and (6) God’s active force, or holy spirit. Several of these usages are here discussed in relation to topics that may arise in the field ministry.
What is the holy spirit?
A comparison of Bible texts that refer to the holy spirit shows that it is spoken of as ‘filling’ people; they can be ‘baptized’ with it; and they can be “anointed” with it. ( ) None of these expressions would be appropriate if the holy spirit were a person.
Jesus also referred to the holy spirit as a “helper” (Greek, pa·raʹkle·tos ), and he said that this helper would “teach,” “bear witness,” “speak,” and ‘hear.’ (
) It is not unusual in the Scriptures for something to be personified. For example, wisdom is said to have “children.” ( ) Sin and death are spoken of as being kings. (
) While some texts say that the spirit “spoke,” other passages make clear that this was done through angels or humans. (
; compare with
.) At , not only the spirit but also “the water and the blood” are said to ‘bear witness.’ So, none of the expressions found in these texts in themselves prove that the holy spirit is a person.
The correct identification of the holy spirit must fit all the scriptures that refer to that spirit. With this viewpoint, it is logical to conclude that the holy spirit is the active force of God. It is not a person but is a powerful force that God causes to emanate from himself to accomplish his holy will.—
.
See also pages 406, 407, under the heading “Trinity.”
What gives evidence that a person really has the holy spirit, or “the Holy Ghost” (KJ)?
: “[Jesus read from the scroll of the prophet Isaiah:] ‘Jehovah’s spirit is upon me, because he anointed me to declare good news’ . . . And he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the sabbath; and they were astounded at his way of teaching, because his speech was with authority. Now in the synagogue there was a man with a spirit, an unclean demon, and he shouted with a loud voice . . . But Jesus rebuked it, saying: ‘Be silent, and come out of him.’ So, after throwing the man down in their midst, the demon came out of him without hurting him.” (What gave evidence that Jesus had God’s spirit? The account does not say that he trembled or shouted or moved about in a fervor. Rather, it says he spoke with authority. It is noteworthy, however, that on that occasion a demonic spirit did move a man to shout and fall onto the floor.)
says that when Jesus’ followers received holy spirit they would be witnesses about him. According to
, when they did receive that spirit, observers were impressed by the fact that, although the ones speaking were all Galileans, they were speaking about the magnificent things of God in languages that were familiar to the many foreigners who were present. But the record does not say that there were any emotional outbursts on the part of those who received the spirit.
It is noteworthy that when Elizabeth received the holy spirit and then gave voice to “a loud cry” she was not in a
meeting for worship but was greeting a visiting relative. ( ) When, as reported at , holy spirit came upon an assembly of disciples, the place
was shaken, but the effect of that spirit on the disciples was, not that they trembled or rolled about, but that they ‘spoke the word of God with boldness.’ Likewise today, boldness in speaking the word of God, zealously engaging in the work of witnessing—these are what give evidence that a person has holy spirit.
: “The fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control.” (It is this fruitage, rather than outbursts of religious fervor, that one should look for when seeking to find people who truly have God’s spirit.)

The JWs have reduced GOD's own Spirit to just a mere force. No wonder, they have rejected the Spirit of truth. They are filled with lies and laughable heresies in the name of doctrine. Jesus says the Spirit will lead us into all truth; if you reject the Spirit and reduce Him to a force, will He guide you into truth?

The Bible says the Holy Spirit can be a Witness (Heb. 10:15). Can anything other than an Intelligent Being be a witness? Can a force be a Witness?

The Bible says the Holy Has a mind of His own. (Rom. 8:27) Can a force have a mind?

The Bible says the Spirit knows the things of GOD. (1 Cor. 2:11) Can a force know things?

read the introductory part..she was cured of WICKED SPIRIT and sicknesses...demons there doesn't refer to physical demons....it refers to wicked spirit force

Definition: The Hebrew word ruʹach and the Greek pneuʹma, which are often translated “spirit,” have a number of meanings.
It is not a person but is a powerful force that God causes to emanate from himself to accomplish his holy will.—
.

The Bible says the HOLY SPIRIT CAN BE TALKED TO and HEAR, how can Jehovah be talking to His own energyhuh

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." John 16:13

dolphinheart,

It would do us good if you could actually insert the words "to save" after the words "if Jesus had power" in the quote below, so we can know your stand on this issue.
