Please I just humbly need a lil clarification. I submitted my application, paper route on the 30th August. Decided to link it online today, 18th Sept. And I noticed on the online platform, after successfully linking, it shows today 18th September as date submitted. Please, does it mean I have to start counting from today or it's still from the 30th August I submitted?

Hello House, Got my refusal news from CIC on Thursday . Although no mail from from CIC Accra but after reading through peoples post on denial spree, I logged on to my CIC account (linked paper application) and my status read closed and this application has been refused. My concern is that no denial reason(s) was displayed. So devastated and can't believe it yet. Anyone with same issue?

so indirectly if i sell my papa land i wouldnt regret it ? I have a family friend that has more than 25mill. what if i claim him as uncle and provide relationship docs to be my sponsor?

I NEED UR HELP...lets say i get a one year pgd admission..i learnt i will get like 8 months to 1 yearwork permit...after the 8 months can i reapply for extension or what ....how abt my PR...am considerin a course in DOUGLAS COLLEGE and its 1 year......

I have observed this issue of denial based on insufficient funds.. These people are not really concerned about the closing balance but the cash in flow and out flow. Thats the reason you see someone with a closing balance of 6 million with a good cash flow get his TRV on the other someone with a closing balance of17 million with a poor cash flow get denied. Put yourself in their shoe, can someone with a cash in flow of 12 million in 6 months comfortably sponsor a student in canada and still maintain his living standard.. my opinion though.

I think he should also not indicate refusals from UK and US in his next application.

I tell u. all u need do its to write d English exam ( IELTS ) and pas with 7 points at least. get a school with it. dia masters Feb 2017 intake its ongoing now. its easier to get admission dia dan in Canada. and pay ur tuition at least half or a bit more Dan. I hav a family friend dat would have done my...bt I was so blinded with Canada and I dint take my English exam serious becos i had all my mind in Canada. now d guy who happens to be a priest in Australia has taken 3 of his siblings to Australia and is doing for his cousin presently. wen he spoke with my sis he said his friends hav been paying money into his account since 4 months to enable him do a sponsor for d guy n also pay part of d tuition. d guy has passed the English exam which is valid for 2 yrs. My people ....me, I can't spend a dim for Canada waka again.... Its better I start organizing myself for a good alternative. its purely a personal decision . dis Canada game of luck no d work for evey body...its full of uncertainties n d treat Nigerians as if we ar lesser humans and d ar small gods. am full of regrets now becos I have lost dis yr. and d kind money dat is needed no dey around me now. my bro @ michV, Canada looks like d most difficult wen it comes to study permit packaging n processes.... if u check u would notice dat most visa processing agents dont rush to do Canada student visa, some of dem even lack d information n knowledge we gain by being here in Nairaland . most of us here ar well informed Dan diz ppl parading as agents.
once u ar exposed to Canada pattern, most countries would be easy for u. d tin its dat Canada seems to be cheaper, English speaking as in no English exam required and with more opportunities ...dat is y we ar tripping oooo. but dat dia TRV d be like dem d give u ticket to HEAVEN. very shroud set of people.

The publication/writing samples are your previous works or existing works.

Not something you write for the purpose of admission. It must have been in existence before your application.

Do you have a soft copy of your undergrad project? If so you can submit a part of it.

It's finally my turn to ask a question!

A family friend of mine is applying for a TRV in a couple weeks. He did upfront medicals, but afterwards decided to renew his passport.

Recently he noticed that his completed medicals form has his old passport number on it. The issue is that he will be applying for his TRV using the new passport, but he will be attaching the upfront medicals document with the old passport number.

Has anyone ever done this? Did you run into any problems with CIC requesting a new medicals report? Any advice?

i disagree on this.i had inflow of 13mill,debit of 7. Million and closing balance of 6.1mill
