Good morning,
Please,I intend to apply next month for UK Visa under the family category. I want to visit my brother who is a British citizen. He hasn't seen my kids since I gave birth to them, and it's also like 3yrs I saw him last.so he wants us to come over for Christmas.
I am married with 2 kids(,one is 18months,and the other is 10weeks).
I am currently not working, so,will be applying as a stay at home mum.
My husband will be our sponsor,(he is in a private salary pay job)while my brother will be sending the invitation letter, and will also be accommodating us.
I have some landed properties bequeathed to me by my late father as a gift, can I include it in my application?
1,Please,what are the chances of me getting or being refused a visa?
2, can my husband also apply along with us? Or he can do his own seperately after we might have done ours?
Please, also note that,I had twice been rejected Visa before..first in 2007, for not putting any of my account statement..I was waiting for Nysc then,so didn't really have any viable bank account.
Secondly,in 2013,they said they refused me because the monies paid as salary from my firm then every month didn't specifically states that they are 'salary for so so month'.. and so not sure they are salaries and so not also sure I am a staff there.
Thank.

Can your husband sponsor the trip comfortably without spending more than 2months of his salary?

If your husband is traveling with you then yes apply together else there is no need.

You need to disclose all past refusals

hello house,

i dont wanna use a travel agent cos i heard that visa is really cheap if u have your documents right..

Im 21, only travelled to ghana, i intend to visit my step mum who's a british citizen in the uk this christmas, she was here last christmas with my step brother and sis, we had a good time together so she wants me to come over this christmas..

She's a nurse but she pays for the rent, bills and all so she doesnt really have enough savings asin (millions) in her bank account to tender as bank statement but she sure can take care of me during my stay..

The problem now is that, im new to all these, im a 200level student in the university, i want to know the documents required and also, i have an uncle who travels to the uk twice a month, so i was thinking if i could use his bank statement if thats gonna work..

Also with the things ive read on this page, im planning to tender my a photocopy of my school id card, hoping it can stand as a tie with my country naija

and also, i want to know if using my uncle's bank statement will work since my step mum is sending the invintation letter and other documents

My bosses in the house should help me torchlight this matter asap abeg

Please I need your advise lovely people.

Planning to apply for UK visa for the first time with my 2 children (6 months and Twins 7 years). We plan to visit my sister who is settled in UK and live with her husband and baby. Intended travel is during Christmas holiday.

The trip is a mixture of seeing my sister, family and also doing some shopping and site seeing. We will be staying with my sister during our stay .

I don't work but get monthly support money from husband paid into my account .

My hubby will be sponsoring the trip, he has his own business and will supply both business and personal bank statements.

Please here are my questions:
1) I don't work and have no property or assets in my name? Will that be an issue in terms of ties?
2) my husband will be sponsoring the trip , is it mandatory to include a marriage certificate to prove relationship with him? We have only done custom marriage several years ago so I have no marriage cert.
3) my husband registered his business in 2015 and not due for a tax payment yet. Will that be an issue if a tax certificate isn't supplied? The Company registeration and business accnt will be supplied to prove business.
4) I am on the company registration as the deputy director, but not been working due to child birth. How do I state this , in terms of employment.

I am torn as to whether to proceed with the application or leave it. I just don't want a refusal .

You response will be highly appreciated. Thank you

Yes,he can comfortably. Sponsor without exceeding 2 months of his salary.

I also want to ask: do I also need to submit my personal bank account?

If that is the case then your bank statement is not needed

I don't know what else to collect from my work place

1.Details about the exam you are going for.

2.Your own bank statement, payslips are not good enough.

3.Your company's bank statement, registration paper and tax certificate

1. No

2. You have to provide document to show that you are married

3. That can be explained in the form

4. Again use the blank space in the form to explain that

Lol.. are you kidding me? of course you have to apply for separate visa for her and pay for it, so basically completing two visa application forms.

The best thing for you to do is read back on the UK student section here.
https://www.nairaland.com/2575449/uk-student-visa-tier-4/133

Also look online at the UK visa site. By reading these you will understand much more, and understand the costs involved.

well i believe this thread was created to help people with the visa applications, getting a uk visa is not something that an average nigerian know about..

And it doesnt matter how many people u have helped secured a visa, this thread was created to help novice with the step by step guide, i see the 'gurus' in the house reply people with harsh words or even ignore them for asking questions thats bothering them... You wouldnt have created this thread if we had the knowledge of visa processing..

One other thing is the fact that everyone commenting here has different problems and questions regarding their visa application, we all want visas but we are in different dillema, so i'll strongly appreciate if you people perform yur duty by helping and answering everyone's questions on this thread cos that is the main purpose...

I think its insultive to ignore people, we wouldnt be asking visa questions if you didnt create the thread... Thanks

I am not sure what you are complaining about?
We can not answer every person with a detailed, personal list of how to apply for a visa, there are just too many.
("Tell me everything about UK, USA, Canada, Shengen visa."wink
There are hundreds of pages of information here for people to read and learn from, then we can try to answer detailed questions.
Most people want to learn and better themself.
We do get a few that want to sit on their bottom while someone else does all the work for them!

No its very rude to be ungrateful and unappreciative. I have been answering your questions since yesterday even when some of the answers are here already. I have a job that takes 12hrs of my day Mon-Fri and still make out time to help as much as i can and you have the dam gut to tell us how to help people here.

Do you pay me? Go pay an agent for your questions.smh

well, it's your thread, u volunteered to serve people which i really appreciate, u didnt force me to comment either, but reading through all the pages is a bit difficult too...

And there are first timers on the thread who need urgent informations, not everyone has the luxury of sitting for hours reading through the thread, i really tried to..

Sorry then, i was only making a point but its fine

and i dont need an agent...

Thanks!
