We don't need to see ourselves as a 'KING' who deserves everything because our proposal scaled through, rather we should focus more on the successfully actualization of our proposal.

These guys are really helping us, it is very rare and extremely risky to loan a start up business (a business without revenue or past income data) that is why we are all subjected to the necessary formal business training in assisting we and our businesses to be successful.

It is globally forecast that 50 percent of start up business would not successfully exceed 5 years after start up.

Therefore, I think these guys are trying to cut down the risk by giving us all the required training that would enable us to be successful and we should all appreciate what we are benefiting rather than making harsh complaints.

NA beg I beg oooo. We should be discussing something tangible to our businesses by now not complaints.

We should be asking questions related to success of our businesses and providing valuable answers that businesses would all benefit.

only world class feeding is provided at the EDC in Lagos Business School...I can attest to that. The rest is your responsibility and rightly so.

That's impressive, if you ask me. You gotta spend money to make money bro. Them ma are taking risk investing in us, seeing as there is no guarantee that we will bear fruit. So why are some of us so afraid to take the minimal share of the risk that is ours to take?!
Re: Bank Of Industry YES Programme Shortlist by dannB(m): 6:55am On Sep 23, 2016
Rubbish. Government and BOI needs us more than we need them. That's the fact. Don't make a mistake. In business, he who has business idea and knowledge is more valuable than who has the capital.

Please just answer the simple question directly, have I complained to you in my question about what should be free or what shouldn't. Earlier comments about free stuff was just me airing my opinion. If by God's grace I make it to EDC then I should know the financial involvement on my side and also settle where to stay. I do not reside in Lagos neither do I have a person I trust that I can stay with. These are the reasons I am asking, it's not so you can lecture me on related issues.

Thanks for your response.

Remember your idea is nothing without funding. I used to think like this too but the truth is no one is greater than the other.

Lol, why bother coming at me with a polite "thank you" at the end when you've been aggressive all the way. Make up your mind bro.

Interesting that supposed participants of the course, who have most likely taken the course on Effective Communication are still struggling to move over from the AGGRESSIVE quadrant, to the ASSERTIVE quadrant. undecided

Only those who have a clear vision of what there want to do will get to the money. All this you are going through is to select the really deserving ones.

The money you requested for, was it paid in tranches or paid once? Also is it possible to negotiate because the amount I wrote while applying can not buy my equipment any more.
