That is a sedimentary zone in Basement complex you ll spend double that amount and more even in some sedimentary region with the presence of Iron you have to dig deep which this hand turner I m looking at can never drill except through the use of a rig.

what we did in end effect was to finish one side. cast it then later shift to the other side to save cost but it still cost the earth to do parapet

I spotted your walls had no reinforced concrete pillars. I personally would have been scared noting that the parapet had reinforced concrete at the top being supported only by blocks.

Is this so at the kitchen where you decked ?

[b]I really like the quality of workmanship on your project...its making the work come out very well

The only thing seemingly out of place that I have noticed and wish to point out is that I haven't seen any pillars (columns) in your building and you have introduced concrete fascia with ring beams attached to it and also this concrete slab over the kitchen. The concrete fascia and beams are going to support/bear the full weight of the roof structure (carcass and covering). I believe the roof structure will also exert a portion of its weight on the slab over the kitchen. Now this weight exerted by the roof structure on the roof beams/fascia and slab over the kitchen ought to be transferred to the foundation in one way or the other, through the pillars (columns) which are concrete members also AND NOT through the block walls as the case presently is. The weight of the roof transferred from the roof fascia/beams through the blockwork to the foundation may cause cracks in the wall overtime.

Try introducing columns if still possible. Wishing you all the best in your project!!

I observe and wanted to comment about it b4. I saw your comment..the projected singular partitions on the left side elevation needed at least two columns, considering the weight of the concrete facial. it would have been more structural proper if he had introduce at least columns on the for angles of the building. but nevertheless I hope the blocks and binding materials are strong enough...

You can do it bro. All you have to do is save, save and save. If you also want want to cut cost, you should use red brick, recommended based on your budget. Redbricks will save you 30-50% cost of building when compared to when blocks are used.

mine Ac is going to be something new, we were thinking of the enviroment and basically consturted the Ac piping that three rooms will be using one unit outside
kopell:
Thank you. I challenge my electrician about the same system. I told him I need one single system with 8 individual control units. He was a little skeptical. I proved to him its being in used here for many years. He came down to advice me the challenge I may have when its faulty. His advice change my thinking completely.

I guess it's a VRF Ac system with inverter. One outdoor can support multiple indoor units. It saves you energy as well.

4. Pray and let your wife keep praying for you.......
