Because you are light skinned... and lived abroad... and have a decent job.... would qualify you to be a trophy husband for manyyy women and they would deceive you all the way to the altar. You need to change your approach .... stop chasing women... as in seeing a pretty woman at the conference. Forget about finding a wife.... in a hurry...make friends...and more friends.. in time a few would emerge all wrapped in wife material then it would be on you to select which one would bear the ring.

Friends are always real... just a bit not so hard to find as a wife! You just need to pay attention to little details to sort out friends from hangers on/associates. For instance.. you are worried about handling a wife and may take to hitting the bars more often to ease the stress. A friend is going to get in your face about it ... whether you like it or not ... because he/she is concerned about your welfare. An associate would not. Sooo many such little things stringed together can help you sort out real friends.

Like where? I am currently working, so it would be hard to find time to volunteer. Except MAYBE weekends.

Find those things/causes that you are passionate about and volunteer for them seriously. You can even think of orphanages or delinquent teens vocational centres. You may likely find serious minded ladies there who don't need alerts from you to open their legs and hearts.
