lol! that phrase made sense today got me cracked up..the truth is that I always make sense but it all depends on how you interprete my threads.

Nevertheless as long as the lack of readiness is not hinged on lack of funds no wahala.

Btw you look sweet in that dp.
Just as Laveda has said, Ladies who want high key weddings ll v to manufacture the funds. The men are ready. Their life is simple but their brides to be are delaying processes due to their high level wedding ceremony issue.
Last Bullet
Any lady that's ready for marriage ll reason with recession & cut her cloth according to her material.

I hate big ceremonies, anything big, just creeps me out.
Am I normal embarassed

@op not bad... Not bad at all.
The ultimate question though should be "is he/she really ready?" I remember my wedding, I did both my trad&church same day. Wife wanted big though but stood my grounds. Summary is, we were both ready to become one. Cause trust me, once the both parties are ready, financial, recession or whatever can't stop them.. Some cases, they elope. So!!! Finance is an excuse for the weak/not ready category.
Meanwhile I stumbled on this hilarious picture.

Whenever I just see a thread by Toks2008 gbam I'm on it nd it never disappoints always on point, though sometimes with plenty grammar that I always have to involve m dictionary. Nice write up! The part I don't understand is why humans can't be humans! You don't concur with a write-up, then just pass or just state your opinion rather than giving a destructive criticism(not referring to this thread though)

I really don't see any biggy in tieing the nuptial knot in a low key way and saving up for the big one.

Even omotola jalade said this about her wedding and I quote
"We did the court wedding in 1996 and the traditional in 2001 after we had had three kids."

Nigerian ladies should really tow this line if huge funds are not available ...it makes no sense spending all you have or getting into debt because of a grand wedding.

In a way you made sense today. undecided

Sometimes, the fault is usually from the woman, they wanna do things above their level, they want theirs to be like that of the others forgetting their financial status hence going to lend and do all of that. undecided

If your man has a good house and a source of steady income, there's actually no need setting your eyes on that "high key" wedding, afterall its just a one day thing..

But then, this shouldn't make them rush into marriage if the man says he isn't ready.
Thank God this is coming from a lady as well. And I strongly agreed with you.

Just go to court, pay 40k and you're married. Simple! undecided
To be sincere, are you married yet? if 'no' would you ever accept that from your man to be just like that as said by you above?

Are this sincere with what you said above? cause you never look as one ooooo. Anyway not the type of weddings that matter, what matters most is the happiness and a peaceful home therein, plus all the goodies therein without any forms of malice and divorce/breakup there on....
