vosquare: I wish I could help but policy has tied my hands down. If this is not what you can handle, send it back to China(seller) for repair or look for someone trustworthy that can assist you here. |

vosquare:Thats because it is Chinese rom, good to have you back. Now that you have been able to resurrect a bricked phone, I see nothing stopping you from unlocking that bootloader, just be more careful this time. |

NgcoboP: Is that how things are done I have given him online support I could, if this said phone was purchased from us, the best thing is to send it back to us for a fix. Don't tell me you will give after sales service to products not purchased from you if you're the seller. Just tell me a store that does that. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Nobody: 11:43am On Sep 29, 2016 |
KuliMart: I strangely like your business and see huge potentials and consistency. I will be glad if you can extend support to genuine products purchased from any source for a fee! consulting fee and repair fees |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 12:09pm On Sep 29, 2016 |
vosquare:Try using another network, it happened to me with glo network before updating to miui 8. If changing to another network fails, you may need to download another playstore. |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 1:21pm On Sep 29, 2016 |
NgcoboP:Its the best miui update yet! Performance is better, phone runs more smoothly. The new gallery app is more organised, you can now create folders. The notification bar has changed twice now (am on developer rom), I like it. The recent apps can be viewed in grid form optionally, and its smoother than ever. Taking screenshots it very sweet and easy, plus the ability to make it scrollable to the length of your choice makes it even more fantastic. Though I have noticed it doesn't work for Chrome and UCweb, maybe a bug. With 'quick ball', I hardly use my power button, unless I remove my battery. The list goes on. For now few themes are compatible for miui 8, but it's already getting interesting. There is also wallpaper carousel, in all its like you have bought a new device.

@Gptech: Is the MIUI8 of Stable ROM different from that of Global Stable ROM? Pardon my ignorance How do you determine if a product is "Chinese ROM" or other? I am on Stable ROM MIUI 8.0.1.0 |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by 40manlappy: 3:22pm On Sep 29, 2016 |
NgcoboP: Seconded! Kulimart, no one is asking you to do it for free! Embrace that possibility and see your patronage grow. The fees can also cover your operational expenses, you know. Imagine Mandilas Motors turning down services and repairs on cars purchased from Elizade.... |
