I will modify number 1. In my place Introduction and bride price payment are two separate occasions. The formal introduction involves just the two families so no razzmatazz there. The wedding and brideprice list is given that day.

The payment of brideprice is the wedding proper. On that day, the groom pays the brideprice, we dance, eat, drink and other feferity. After that the bride packs her kaya to husband's house, THE SAME DAY.

Shikena. Marriage ti bere.

Registry comes up later.

That's the route I will be taking. No church wedding for me.
