LEMME SOUND IT AS A WARNING - Make no mistakes . Don't send me an independence day congratulatory message or tag me in anything that connotes, promotes or depicts the Independence day celebration. I refuse to celebrate independence in a nation typical of a failed state. l refuse to celebrate independence in a nation driven by tribal/ethnic bigotry and hypocrisy. l refuse to celebrate independence in a nation where truth has been thrown to the winds. l refuse to celebrate independence in a nation where law makers are well remunerated to sleep In the hallowing chambers during sections. Look around you, what is worth celebrating in Nigeria?? ls it the eighty five year old president who has exhausted two whooping years on the blame game? ls it a nation where very few are fisting on our common wealth? ls it a nation where the average Nigerians now feed once in a day? is it a GDP that woefully failed from 7% to 0.36% in just one year? tell me what we are celebrating. In saner climes , this so called independence day celebration would have been cancelled long ago. Look around you, tell me what is good about Nigeria that we have to celebrate. Absolutely nothing. A nation where even the president is guilty of massive fraud. A nation deeply divided by even those in authority . A nation cursed with the worst president in human history . No. I do not have any reason whatsoever to celebrate. I can not be celebrating when innocent Nigerians are dying of starvation at lDP camps and the govt of the politicised the situation. l cannot be celebrating when it is now manifestly glaring that our dear currency now ranks below currencies of countries as low as Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Mauritania , Cameroon, and even the ever-waring Sudan. l can not celebrate when the govt of the day thrives on blatant lies and sheer deceit with youths of our nation applauding them for reason of party loyalty. we have to be Celebrating Revolution, not independence. it is high time we stood our grounds and rebel against our political class irrespective of their parties. it is high time we looked them in the eyes and say to them ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Especially the youths, we have to determine and rule our destines and that of posterity and the time is now. Do No Try To Say lt is well, when its obviously not. Our dear nation must be liberated from these political vultures , that is the best independence deserving to all of us, and that is my wish.

At least you acknowledge the fact that many parents can't afford to pay school fees,
many youths after graduating remain jobless,
many families can barely afford the price of food.

What help in the short term have you proffered.

Indeed of what use to a man who has a few hours to live is a specialist doctor who will come and treat him in a weeks time?

But why do we keep celebrating a false and forced independence.
The South is agitating for resource control
The East is agitating for independence
The west is agitating for true federalism
While the north sits in their arm chair, smiling at themselves at the luck that has befallen them. They can't imagine how the more educated south was so easily swindled to bring in a dunce as president
