.

It depends on the type of uber u picked. Uber has uberpool ( which is the cheapest and its a shared ride with other passengers ),Uber black and other two I can't remember. Uber black is usually very expensive and executive kind of.so alway check ur uber app to make sure you have the pool on.

@omoba88, try southwest airline. They don't charge for two 23kg boxes. Honestly can't answer the first part of your question.

Thanks

My sister, I feel you. Same thing is happening to me now. Came in Tuesday morning, had 7 boxes and three car seats. Only two boxes and a car seat landed with us. Been calling them and threatening to sue. They even sent one box bearing my name that isn't mine and have refused to return the box to wherever they brought it from so they have recorded it that I have gotten that box. God being faithful, so far I have gotten the other 2 car seats and 2 boxes. Still praying and hoping for the other 3. I have been going to the airport everyday since I came back. Now they are asking for receipts for the items in the other 3 bags which I don't even have. Please let me know how it goes with yours cos they keep telling me they don't know where the other 3 are. It's well

Oh yes. The ones I've been looking into have all the security measures in place and clear ammounts you'll be paying if the need arises that you or your baby should be transfered as well as the hospital you'll be transfered to, ambulance fee(Def not up to 3000usd wayyyyy cheaper) an ob/gyn affiliate, physicians fee and all that are clearly stated.
So basically, you are well prepared and thats why it's clearly stated that they don't accept high risk pregnancies. It's all about your medical records and you being honest with yourself. And asking all the right questions. Ultimately they still provide quality one on one experience from all I've read and been told. First time mums or not. And let's face it, how many women pray for complicated birth raise your hand up.lol. you wen get bele, you know your bodies signals.

A friend was denied upon renewal for using a birthing centre. Vo asked y she would go halfway around the world to use a midwife. Are there no midwives in Nigeria.

So...choose wisely

Thanks for your reply @godson. The final destination is Atlanta but first stop from London heathrow to US is Philadelphia and from my findings here, that will be her POE before the trip to Atlanta. I don't want her having problems with carrying luggages to take another flight to Atlanta.

U r even lucky, before I gave birth, I spend 120 to the hospital everyweek, only 4 me to find out that train is just $6, imagine I get to sav $114 evrywk. I just found som1 that can take me from Queens to manhattan for $80 dollars to go process 9ja passport sinc that's the only tyn left. The best bet is to hire a car or find som1 u can split the bill with. The only lesson I learnt is neva to convert the currency rate again cos I no fit get high BP b4 I get bak to 9ja.

That was a good video to buttress the essence of this group. Say the truth and be set free. SHe should have been truthful to the US embassy from the beginning and all this would have been a breeze.

You don't want to try Philadelphia POE. They are like Chicago, if not worse.

D conversion of currency is d beginning of wisdom o! I dey convert. Mnwhile I stil dey naija. cool But I dey use my Travelex PTA conversion. wink
So I started baby Window shopping last week dat graduated to actual shopping yday & I'm so glad I did. At dis rate, one must draw d line between sheer effizy &wisdom!
I opened my Amazon &Walmart shopping carts & started comparing prices. Cos I'm sure I can identify d originals vs d wanna bes.
I Got a whole lot for d equivalent of $150 & imagine dis means I've also saved my luggage space. Truth is, A lot of times, we (women esp) buy stuffs we end up not using. Not dis time. I'm rationing sleepsuit/bodysuit by age &style. Make I save dollars for hospital bills &Baby's documents which to me are d most important 2 tinz. lipsrsealed
As for diapers & formula, I can't believe I'm saying dis but if I run out of forex over there,I'm so coming bak to happily commence baby on NAN. Certified by Nestlé.
As for everyday mall waka, mbanu! Na online shopping from big stores u can return if u don't like eventually. But shop wisely to reduce returns. Every dollar saved to avoid unnecessary mall trips counts. Limit ur waka to Dr's apptmnt &documentation -& like someone suggested, find someone to join! Wisdom shopping it is. Im done ranting. Kudos everyone! grin Ndewo nu.

Hello my people. Please does anyone have idea of how much arik charges for infant or have recently charged as per NewYork to Lagos when one is returning home with baby?

I haven't booked a flight with them yet so I can't exactly call them up and reserve one.

Want to know for sake of planning and budget.

Thanks!!
