We should not get too sentimental about this so called National Assets, i would rather view them as business enterprises, fact be told this asset may begin to depreciate in value with the force for renewable energy blowing across Europe, Americas, Asia. We may find out that 10 to 15 years later that we may have wished we had sold much earlier and gotten maximum value.... You have it exactly right. In fact, the possible gains from improved management are great enough to make most of these assets worth selling regardless of how much revenue their sale might bring in. I think any sane person would rather use a privately owned MMIA that was as well run as London's Gatwick, rather than suffer traveling through the sh*thole we currently call a national "asset".

The same goes for the refineries, the railroads, the ports, even the national stadium: everything the FG runs directly inevitably turns to sh*t, so why not sell them all off to international investors who know what they're doing, and have financial incentives to care about customer satisfaction?
