He copied her phone number from the office's record for his personal use. That is unethical, it's violation of her privacy. A very hard and costly way to learn his lessons. I pray he's not sacked. The lady should have tempered justice with mercy.

Did you pple not read how they kidnapped someone and demanded for unreasonable ransom, just because of the persons information they got on social media, have you not read of cases of rape and ritualism, just because you are beign friendly to a stranger?

I remember when a banker did same thing, he got a customers number from his account info, and he called to beg him for money, the man said he doesn't have, the next mail the man received was a snap shot of his account balance, tell me that such person don't deserve to be sacked?...let us keep on blaming pple for doing right, I'm sure later you ll also agree that it not wrong to steal pple money, let them pay tax while you spend it on your family alone, let pple elect you in position so you can steal funds, after all, what is the big deal.............they say Youth are the leaders of tommorow,......well

Even with all you reasonableness, you couldn't tell that if he wanted to hurt her, he needn't reveal his identity to do so, how exactly does chatting her up put her in harms way? Did he put up her info on social media? If she was sacred or whatever, all she had do was block him or never respond to him.

Granted, it's unprofessional what the guy did but for crying out loud, we are all human and can fall here or there, if anything, matters concerning attraction/heart are where people are most irrational, so the guy's offense can easily be understood or overlooked, who amongst us would say they haven't crossed a line, no matter how small, when it comes to a person they like? The girl is just a really stupid and wicked person, tell him you don't like what he did, block him, threaten to report him if he tries such again but don't ridicule him/ruin his job because he liked you enough to take a risk.

same thing happened to me in 2014,15 and now 16....I ignored, so there shouldn't be any big deal about it

The guy didn't approach her during working hour.

The guy didn't use the company property(cell phones, computer) or name to approach her.

And lastly he was not rude in his WhatsApp message.

Working in a company doesn't mean someone should be a robot, we're humans and we have emotions.
