Okay, let's assume a miracle happens and Anioma state is created and merged with the south-east, thank God, but would that be all? Can this 6 Igbo speaking states challenge the Hausa-fulani power in Nigeria?

And for Anioma state, most Anioma indigenes will not have a problem with the state creation, but for the state to be merged with the south-east may be a big problem. Many Anioma people would be seriously against this move especially from the Ika and Ndokwa axis who will see this as an attempt of Igbonization. Anioma Groups like NDI ANIOMA would ensure that such a move never sees daylight. Besides, no hausa-fulani ruler or Yoruba muslim will ever support any move to increase the population of the south-east, they would rather die than for this to be achieved. They love to the south-east disadvantaged the way it is.

This is why my greatest advice for my brothers across the Niger would be to prove these core-northernerns wrong, you guys should prove that with or without any merger you can still form a kind of unity with the South-South groups and even if possible, middlebelt groups. And this kind of unity can never come by shouting for Biafra. No. This kind of unity can only come through a common political party or through a very strong social or political group.
I must say that i was quite amazed the way you south-easternerns could mobilize yourselves for this Biafran issue, i wish such energy was channeled in the right direction e.g ensuring that APGA as an igbo controlled party wins all the south-eastern governorship slots and extend their power to the South-south and middlebelt.

Most yorubas and hausas are speaking the same language today, why? because of a common political party (APC), why can't you guys make this kind of move and gain more supporters and followers this way rather than shouting for Biafra which will be almost impossible to get unless through war?
I will keep on telling South-easternerns, no black nation has ever secceeded without war in history and i don't see how Biafra will work without a war. Eriterea had to war with Ethiopia for 12 years before breaking out, South Sudan had to war with Sudan for over 30 years before breaking out.

Funny enough, it was an Idoma man in the person of DAVID MARK (former senate president) who was at the fore-front on the issue of state creation during GEJ's tenure because the idomas also wanted APA state out of Benue. David Mark came down to Asaba many times and held meetings with Anioma leaders assuring them of Anioma state.
This is why i always caution Igbos to stop antagonizing people and develop a good relationship with other regions, especially their neighbours, because you never know who will be in the position to help you tomorrow. I keep on telling South-east people that the middlebelt people (northern christians) are supposed to be one of their greatest allies, in this game of Nigeria, only that South-east people just need to learn diplomacy and diplomatic skills. But no, what i see on social network most times are igbos insulting northern christians calling them slaves of hausas and i couldn't believe the way many igbos were laughing at Benue people when fulanis were attacking them. May God help us all.

PDP are zonning the next presidency slot to the north, what i expect SE and SS people to be doing now is to support the middlebelt/northern christians to ensure that someone from there gets the ticket instead of a core hausa-fulani again, especially someone like DAVID MARK. And i don't know why if i tell some Igbos these kind of things, they will say they are no longer interested in Nigeria but want Biafra. I just SMH, how do you think you can ever get Biafra without the support of about half of Nigeria? How can you say you want Biafra and at the same time want Anioma state in Nigeria to unite all Ibo speakers? There are many things you south-easternerns just need to put in place i swear and i just pray that God will help you guys do the right thing.

My friend stop being silly and clever by half, diya did not face any trial like a man, he was chained like a dog and forced to face the trial whether he wanted to or not. he saw execution staring him in the face and fell down like a lizard before a junior officer begging for mercy. Twenty –three years after he suddenly was reported dead of natural cause and two years shy of his golden jubilee , facts are now emerging on the reasons that led to First and Second Republic political heavyweight ,Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo committing suicide

It was learned that he did it to stem the tide of a possible military court martial into an insurrection he was planning to lead alongside his political associates at the time when it became evident that then Military President ,General Ibrahim Babangida was intending staying in power forever.
In a no-hold barred interview with FS Online recently,a grass root politician ,Mr Adebayo Adeyinka who lives within the College Road at Ifako-Ijaiye axis in Ogba ,a suburb of Lagos, Nigeria was livid with rage when he learned that a key politician connected to the issue was denying the incident.

He revealed that Chief Awolowo wanted to lead some kind of guerilla warfare or militant campaign against the government of President Babangida so that he can be overthrown through a popular or people -led putsch.
According to him , the Elder Statesman summoned a meeting of his core loyalists over the issue and this was even filmed so as to strengthen the extent of commitment of each of the politician that attended the meeting..
He pointed out that however unknown to all of those who were privy to this meeting and clarion call , Chief Lateef Kayode Jakande ,Former Executive Governor of Lagos State had a different plan as he betrayed them to the military .He Said:’ But unknown to them , Chief Jakande was planning to betray them, he went to President Ibrahim Babangida and promptly showed him the tape

“So he cursed him at this point and pointed out that he will never have any form of relevance politically as far as Nigeria was concerned and till today members of the Awolowo Dynasty avoids him like a plague.
“I was their when the letter he wrote to the family to beg them for forgiveness over the unfortunate incident was read in the presence of all present ,if he continues to deny I am ready to confront him publicly again on the same issue as I can even remember that elders asked him to go to the grave of the late sage to plead for forgiveness
“When he was questioned he lied that the National Security Organization now State Security Services had visited his house to check on him and in the process took the tape in question but” Awoists” knew that this was a very weak argument as he did not inform their political group of this development before their enquiry on the subject
“That was how Senator Abraham Adesanya assumed the leadership of the Awolowo camp of Yoruba politics after the demise of the man ,he was not even so close to Awolowo during his lifetime like Chief Jakande and that was why many called him Baba Kekere on account of this cosy relationship

‘He owned Shonibare Estate but the man he was using as a front and who later went to prison over some issues which Awolowo himself was privy to eventually laid claim to the estate

“He got all of this wealth due to a great measure of goodwill and tax waivers he gave to investors whenever they come to establish their business.
“Anytime you buy a bottle of Coca-Cola you are enriching the Awolowo Dynasty ,go to Ijebu Ikenne and you will discover that the price of a bag cement there is different from other parts of the nation due to the subsidy that the citizens enjoy on account of Awolowo who was their son and I hope you know that West African Portland Cement is in Ewekoro and not Ikenne.

“On account of this great betrayal Awolowo family members regard the “Awoist” as a group people should deal with using a long spoon till this day and this explains why when The Peoples Democratic Party Government gave some of them political appointment lately they accepted it without thinking twice.

“He made Sijuwade rich , because he was his business associate and in fact some of us held very strong views that he was one of his fronts and later the same man became the Ooni of Ife”he added

Mr Adebayo Adeyinka recalled his several years of following grass root politics right from the days of Action Group to the Unity Party of Nigerian era in the second republic but now lamented that he had since lost all interest in partisan politics due to the massive corruption in our polity.
