@sisisioge, u really tried.. Since the day I help one stupid Pastor money, and it was not even my money sef to do one business he said he has been pursuing and am his only hope.. Cause no one was ready to help him with the cash, he nearly knelt down... I said pls o, don't kneel down it has not gotten to that yet, pls.. I felt for him and I went to my friends to borrow money and gave him, hoping he will pay me back at the stipulated time.. I called the Pastor, how far ? He was given me stories ..i was so angry but I controlled it and he promised a month later.. A month ran into months.. My friends who always believed in me, were disappointed in me, and that's one thing I hate, going back on promises... Chai... I hate it like mad.. I eventually paid everyone their money.. I felt so angry with myself for been so gullible over the pastor. Have learnt my lesson.. I can never borrow any guy ,any pastor as long as he is a man, money for anything.. I can dash but not borrow... And
When am married, I can dash my husband any amount but not bf or male friends.. Female friends? Yes. Especially the ones who has been there for me.
God will help us all amen.

Na wa o. Even a so called man of God can do that o. I would have been surprised but a 'pastor' did something similar to me. He begged and begged and made a plan of how the money will be paid back. He was so convincing, also we've worked together for sometime and I can testify that he's honest. So I assisted with the money o, even though my husband told me to be careful, that people are always quick to come and borrow but when it's time to pay back na story dem go dey say. I sha pitied him. That was back in February, no be October we be so? It wasn't until I confided in another colleague that I got to know who this man truly is. He's has borrowed money from so many people, my own sef na change compared to what he has borrowed left right and centre. He was pained that I didn't ask around before giving him the money cos he would have told me all these. I felt so betrayed. This is a 'pastor' we're talking about o. About 50 years old, old enough to have a daughter my age.

Now every time I ask it's one story or another. The annoying thing is if you don't ask he won't even bring it up. Someone also complained about that, he also lent the useless man some money, when the promised time elapsed, he didn't say a word, just kept on as of nothing happened.

The Op is lucky to get her money back jare. Nowadays people are so inconsiderate, it's sickening.

My dear, nowadays people are very inconsiderate.. Not all but some large number of people are. This pastor am talking about was 55years old.. Am his daughter's age. It's just too bad..

Imagine that. Shameless old men. I actually felt an elderly person will not want to disgrace himself in the hands of someone young enough to be his daughter. I was clearly wrong. It's still one story after the next.

Thanks dear. At least I'm not starving or suffering cos I decided to pity an agbaya. Lessons learnt sha.

In these present time where things are hard in the country and everything is on the increase without increase in salary and so much lost in jobs. why not make additional $2000-$5000 every month and have a substantial savings at the end of this year.
