I will buy her the latest range rover.

Who else is supposed to talk sense into Buhari's brain if not his wife? Probably she's been talking to her husband privately about the state of the economy and as stubborn as he is he refused to listen hence her outburst.

I expect his daughters to follow their mother's footsteps and blast their dad too.

God bless Nigeria.
And you will have to look for another husband. EOD!

So how will you respond if Amanpour of cnn asks you that "It seems you can't lead your wife, why should Nigerians listen to you?"

What does that question even have to do with the topic? So if i as a Nigerian citizen criticize Buhari which is exactly what Aisha did, Amanpour will ask if he can lead me? As in how? I don't even understand what you're saying?

She criticized Buhari the president not Buhari her husband.

Mr. President, should be thankful to Allah for using his wife as alarm to wake him up from his long slumber. it's rather too pathetic that most Nigerians are either blind or ignorant of how( PMB) led govt has been hijacked by the forces and disgruntled power obsessed individuals, who uses Mr. President as a stooge.

Oh my wife could be very spontaneous but I understand the recession is biting Hard and there are complains here and there. She shares in our pain.

We are working hard to fix Nigeria. Brush it politically and move on. Real men don't reply when their wives are angry.
you should be employed as special adviser to the president on speech etiquette and reasoning

What will you do if in a global conference you are asked questions suggesting that other world leaders can't trust your capability because of what your wife said?
I understand but going by history and statistics, I have come to realize that most successful great had one or more controversy in their life. take Donald trump for example now. even the greatest king in the bible and the Quran ( king Solomon) was surrounded by controversy. so I will still laugh it off with my over dinner cause I claim superior knowledge to her in matters of politics

I will take her on an exclusive 1 month vacation. That should be an ample opportunity to bridge the inherent communication gap between us. The serenity is necessary because the noise around the Presidency is a ploy by profiteers and opportunists to shield the President from progressive ideas.

Aisha wasnt talking about the state of the economy. She was rather angry because she wasn't having her way on his appointments.

All the comments I've seen here are worse than that of Buhari. People can be such hypocrites.

The problem with this woman is that she wants to directly or indirectly maximise her position as the first lady to amass as much wealth as possible just like Mrs Patience but her husband has not been supportive in achieving her ambition and she"s now feeling seriously agitated.

You know my wife is very passionate about the Nigerian project and the success of this Government so you should understand her when you speaks like that but be that as it may as once a military head of state and the president of the federal republic of Nigeria now under a democratic rule I know that there are over 150m Nigerians who are competent with clean records who I might not know one on one so by recommendation and in the spirit of federal character which this Government stands for we make our appointment and whether she will support me come 2019 I think I will not like to make any comment on that now because whatever I say might be miss-interpreted and therefor heat up the polity. I love my wife thank.

Why are we celebrating Aisha Buhari?

Did she speak on the plight of average Nigerian?
Did she speak about the economy in relation to her husband's performance?
Aisha Buhari just want to be like another Stella,Turai and PEJ.

Telling the world that Buhari is working with people who she doesnt know and are strangers to Buhari is a silly statement from her.

Is she suppose to be familiar with Buhari's cabinet? His just the wife of the president and nothing backs her position constitutionaly.

Buhari already said it in his campaign that his not working with the office of a first lady, coz he knows the effect of first ladies in previous regimes and how their position was misused.

Buhari also said it that his for everybody and for nobody, hence the strange faces coming into his cabinet. He picks those he feels his comfortable with and not based on party politics.

The only reason shes not going to support her husband as she said is because her husband aint carrying her along, shes not familiar with the faces around and not because of performance. That is a very lame reason we have to agree. What happens to the effect of her husbands policies on Nigerians?

To me ,i just feel Aisha is hurt her husband aint carrying her along with governance and not that shes concerned about the plight of an average Nigerian.

So why are we celebrating her?

See sense,best comment so far.

One ting none of us knows is whether this woman has been trying to talk to him and change his attitude but he shoved her aside just like he did publicly and so she chose a medium where it will touch him most. whatever her reasons are shaa I can't judge her but wives don't do that. u protect your husband no matter what, that is why even the law doesn't allow a woman testify against her husband or prosecute him in a criminal trial. No need to tell the world that u don't support his principles, as long as u don't have a hand in it. But its good as breeze blew and we saw fowl nyash

It's a pity Nigerians are not getting the assignment been given to this woman, she came openly to subtly declare her husband ambition in 2019 despite his inability to fix the country after 1+yr! If she doesn't support him, who will!

Lol. Thanks. I can't work with PMB though. He is highly obstinate. The Daughter from the first wife which happened to be my class mate in school told me the father is very stubborn and never listens. How do you advice such a man.

Aisha is suffering what her mum went through. Why will you marry a woman you won't listen to. At leaSt in some matters. You sent your wife to school and now reduce her to kitchen keeper. Who does that in this age

my thoughts. becos at the end of the day, you are still his husband.those you are revealing family issues to, will never be there for you when you return to daura with him or if he divorces you. thesame people will still mock you that you are puppeting ur husband if he starts taking all his advice from you. for me, PMB's response is epic. it represents the primary (not only) roles of a wife, on which other roles blossom.

A question was asked, only few people here are trying to answer. It is very easy to criticize when you are not in position. Now to create just a sentence answer is a problem. To who brain is given common sense is expected.
