Broda tell me pls, who was Jesus PBUh referring 2 here?
Simple question: the answer is HOLY SPIRIT. TELL ME, DID Prophet Muhammad Glorify JESUS? NO HE didn't ! Let me help you with that. Please read with me. 1 John 5 vs 7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the FATHER, the WORD, and the HOLY SPIRIT: and these three are one. Sir, if you read 1 John chapter 5 only, the way you see JESUS will change. What SAY YOU?

that is to tell you that jesus christ did not come with new commandments but he came to testify to those commandment that has been given to those prophets before him. Matthew 5 v 17. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. And this is the believe of we muslims that all the prophets of God are one because they came for thesame purpose and they are all way to the kingdom of God

Since you are quoting the Bible, I will assume that you believe in what you are quoting, that is you believe in the Bible, is that correct?

Culled

What was he saying here?

This Person Jesus spoke about here is the The Comforter, John 14:16; the Spirit of truth, John 14:17; the Holy Ghost, John 14: 26,. This is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus told us the full identity of the coming Person. There's no ambiguity about this. He is the third Person of the Triune God, the TRINITY. The Three-in-One! God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost!
That's why the only people who understand this deep revelation are only the people that have been visited by the Holy Spirit. No one can know Jesus Christ except the Holy Spirit convicts him.
So, the much awaited Personality Jesus spoke about is no other person but the Holy Spirit.

Ok, Very good. That means you know your Bible. Now, you are saying that this spirit of truth that Jesus Christ is talking about is the Holy Spirit. Go a few verses before, Gospel of John
(Chapter 16, Verse 7), it says that “it is expedient for you that I go away for if I go not away, the
Comforter shall not
come”. The criteria for this spirit to come is that Jesus Christ (PBUH) should
depart
 –
“For if I go away, I shall send him.” The Holy Spirit was already there before Jesus Christ
(PBUH) came, the Holy Spirit was there when Jesus Christ was there, he was there when Jesus wasbeing baptised so how can this be the Holy Spirit? Can you tell me? That
means you don’tunderstand the Bible. Jesus Christ says “For if I go not away, the Comforter shall not come... For if Igo, shall I send him”. So the requirement for the spirit of truth to come is that Jesus Christ (PBUH)
should depart. When Jesus Christ is there, the Comforter cannot come. The Holy Spirit was alreadythere when Jesus was there. So how can you say this prophecy refers to the Holy Spirit? Can you
help me understand the Bible? It doesn’t refer to the Holy Spirit. It refers to the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). And this prophecy is also mentioned in the Old Testament in the Book of Deuteronomy(Chapter 18, Verses 18 and 19), it is mentioned in the Book of Isaiah (Chapter 29, Verse 12), in theSong of Solomon (Chapter 5, Verse 16), in the New Testament, Gospel of John (Chapter 14, Verse16), Gospel of John (Chapter 15, Verse 26), Gospel of John (Chapter 16, Verse 7), Gospel of John(Chapter 16, Verses 12-14); all these references are talking about nobody but Muhammad (PBUH). Iam asking you now if you believe in the Bible, when Jesus Christ has prophesised the coming of the

Prophet Muhammad, why don’t you believe in Jesus when he says that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
is the last messenger. Why? That means that you believe half the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Broda think

The Holy Spirit waa not resident with man before and during Jesus's reign on earth. Holy Spirit was the instrument by which God made dealings with humans, also is the Angels. However, Jesus must go back to Heaven after fulfilling His Mission of "Reconciliation of man to his creator, God in the position he had before the fall, so thar we can now COME TO GOD DIRECTLY WITHOUT SACRIFICING ANY ANIMAL OR THING". Then, the Holy Spirit is NOW God residing in the hearts of the true children of God, ie, those who truly obey the Commandments of God through the Word of God, The Holy Bible. Without the Holy Spirit we cannot understand truly the Words of God or get the revelations (directly from God) and live a successful Christian life on earth. The HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR HELPER, HE IS A SPIRIT, and IS THE 3RD PERSON IN THE TRINITY.
The Holy Spirit understand faith, prayers, and speaking in another tongue which is the only language of Heaven which no man can comprehend. Also, the things of the Spirit is Mysteries to you because you do not have Him, if you do it'll glaringly easy for you to comprehend. Kapish?!

LET ME ENLIGHTEN YOU.......... I KNOW YOU BELIEVE THAT HE WAS CONCIEVED BY A VIRGIN......THAT MEANS NO MAN SLEPT WITH HIS MOTHER MARY. SCIENCE HAVE SHOWN THAT THE BLOOD OF THE FATHER FLOWS IN THE VEINS OF THE CHILD. SO IF NO BIOLOGICAL FATHER SLEPT WITH MARY BEFORE CONCEPTION THEN HIS BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS NOT CONTAMINATED LIKE OURS IT IS PURE, THAT IS WHY HE IS CALLED THE SEED OF THE WOMAN. EVERY OTHER PERSON BORN OF A EARTHLY FATHER HAVE THEIR BLOOD CONTAMINATED INCLUDING ALL PROPHETS. MOHAMMED HAD A EARTHLY FATHER SO HIS BLOOD IS POLUTED. DO YOU SEE WHY YOU CANNOT GROUP JESUS WITH ANY PROPHET OR ANY ONE WITH A BIOLOGICAL FATHER?............... HE CAME TO BE THE CLEAN RAM YOU GUYS KILL AT ILLEYA SO AS TO TAKE AWAY YOUR SINS. YOU EAT MEAT OF SALAH YET YOU DONT EVEN KNOW THAT IT WAS SYMBOLIC OF THE DEATH OF JESUS , WHOSE PURE BLOOD HAD ALREADY PAID THE PRICE FOR YOUR SIN......... AND NOW YOU ARE CALLING HIM A COMMON MAN ? Question: "Is Jesus God? Did Jesus ever claim to be God?"

Answer: The Bible never records Jesus saying the precise words, “I am God.” That does not mean, however, that He did not proclaim that He is God. Take for example Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. They tried to stone Him for this very reason: “You, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming—deity. When Jesus declared, “I and the Father are one,” He was saying that He and the Father are of one nature and essence. John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth … before Abraham was born, I am!” Jews who heard this statement responded by taking up stones to kill Him for blasphemy, as the Mosaic Law commanded (Leviticus 24:16).

John reiterates the concept of Jesus’ deity: “The Word [Jesus] was God” and “the Word became flesh” (John 1:1, 14). These verses clearly indicate that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.” Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. And this same verse declares that God purchased His church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!

Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, “But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The Father refers to Jesus as “O God,” indicating that Jesus is indeed God.

In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. There are many other passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity.

The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.
The Jews misinterprets Jesus words that he claim to be God same as Christians but Jesus never did as he claim to be "son of man". What was Jesus reply when they ask who's good he said "I'm not good only my father is good" he knows and never claim to be God only the Jews misinterprets his words and wanted to stone him like every other prophets were stoned, Jesus talked about how the Jews killed prophets before him.

There are verses in the Bible that makes Jesus look like he's God and there are verses in the Bible that Jesus himself denied to be God.

Because he made it clear in the bible that only fools think he is the son of god
Jesus never made it clear in the Bible that He is not God. Ever wondered why the Jews wanted to kill him? If he was just another prophet, why did they want to kill him? Jesus came to earth as a man and He didn't only teach us by His words but also by His actions. He knelt down to pray to the Father and thanked the father always. That was teaching us humility. But when the question was raised in Mark 14, He called Himself, "I am" and "The son of man, sitting on the right hand side of power. That itself was a claim He is God. And that was why in the very next verse, the priest tore his garment because it was an abomination in the Jewish tradition to call yourself God. Read my friend.

Bible Verses That Indicate Jesus Is
Not God The Creator
1. Matthew 24:36
No one knows about that day or hour,
not even the Son , but the Father only .
Here Jesus makes a distinction
between what he knows and what
the Father knows.
2. Matthew 26:39
My Father, if it is possible, may this
cup be taken from me, yet not as I will,
but as Thou will.
Jesus’ will is likewise autonomous
from God’s Will. Jesus is seeking
acquiescence to God’s will.
3. John 5:26
For as the Father has life in Himself, so
he has granted the Son to have life in
himself.
Jesus received his life from God.
God received his life from no one.
He is eternally self-existent.
4. John 5:30
By myself, I can do nothing: I judge
only as I hear, and my judgment is just,
for I seek not to please myself but him
who has sent me.
Jesus says, “by myself, I can do
nothing.” This indicates that Jesus
is relying upon his own
relationship with God. He is not
trying to “please myself” but
rather is seeking to “please the
one who sent me.”
5. John 5:19
The Son can do nothing by himself ; he
can do only what he sees the Father
doing, because whatever the Father
does, the Son does also.
Jesus declares that he is following
a pattern laid down by God. He is
expressing obedience to God.
6. Mark 10:18
Why do you call me good? No one is
good, except God alone .
Here Jesus emphatically makes a
distinction between himself and
God.
7. John 14:28
The Father is greater than I.
This is another strong statement
that makes a distinction between
Jesus and God.
8. Matthew 6:9
Our Father, which art in Heaven.
He didn’t pray, Our Father, which
art standing right here!”
9. Matthew 27:46
My God, My God, why hast thou
forsaken me?
Inconceivable if he is God the
Creator.
10. John 17:21-23
. . .that all of them may be one, Father,
just as you are in me and I am in you .
May they also be in us so that the
world may believe that you have sent
me. . ..that they may be one as we are
one: I in them and you in me.
In this prayer Jesus defines the
term “to be one.” It is clearly
accomplished through the
relationship of two autonomous
beings. Christian believers are to
model their relationship (to
become one) after the relationship
of God and Christ (as God and
Christ are one). Notice that “to be
one” does not mean to be “one
and the same.”
11. 1 Corinthians 15:27-28
For he "has put everything under his
feet." Now when it says that
"everything" has been put under him, it
is clear that this does not include God
himself , who put everything under
Christ. When he has done this, then the
Son himself will be made subject to him
who put everything under him, so that
God may be all in all .
Paul declares that God put
everything under Christ, except
God himself. Instead God rules all
things through Christ. (remember:
“through him all things were
made.”)
12. Hebrews 1:3
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory
and the exact representation of his
being.
Jesus is the exact representation of
his being. I send my
representative to Congress. He is
not me, myself. He is my
representative.
13. Hebrews 4:15 (compared with
James 1:13)
For we do not have a high priest who
is unable to sympathize with our
weaknesses, but we have one who has
been tempted in every way, just as we
are—yet without sin.
Jesus has been tempted in every
way, just as we are, yet he never
sinned. See
James 1:13: When tempted, no one
should say, God is tempting me. For
God cannot be tempted by evil, nor
does he tempt.
Jesus was tempted in every way,
but God cannot be tempted. This is
why Jesus said, “don’t call me
good, none are good, only God.”
14. Hebrews 5:7-9
During the days of Jesus' life on earth,
he offered up prayers and petitions
with loud cries and tears to the one
who could save him from death , and
he was heard because of his reverent
submission. Although he was a son, he
learned obedience from what he
suffered and, once made perfect, he
became the source of eternal salvation
for all who obey him
Jesus had to walk a course of faith
and obedience in order to achieve
perfection. By achieving
perfection, Jesus “became” the
source of eternal salvation.....now take dix pastor

Muslims believe that Jesus didn't die on the cross because someone else took his place. They love him as a prophet of Islam. They believe that his message was Islamic but it has been corrupted by Christians. On this basis, a Muslim can claim to love Jesus.

So Islam goes against history to claim that Jesus was never crucified. Even if one doesn't believe in the Bible, it's impossible to deny history. Romans that crucified Jesus have it in their historical records that Jesus was crucified yet a "holy" Book that is supposedly perfect and came directly from "God" can't get basic history correct. This is one of the reasons, I left Islam.

Of course the Bible never said that Jesus is God. He's the son of God (that is, he's the first born of all creation - col 1: 15). God is a separate being from Jesus. God is almighty, Jesus is not. Jesus prayed to do his father's (God's) will. Jesus is not only the son of God, he's also a prophet (since he also prophesy about the future).

The Jesus (peace be on him), I know, whom I love as a Muslim, came to confirm a simple message-No brain gymnastic.

1.There is only ONE God, whom all depend. He begets not, nor is He begotten; And none is like Him.

2.He Jesus (peace be on him), like all messengers, was a prophet send only to convey the message of glad tiding to believers and warning of dire punishment to unbelievers. He never ascribe any divinity to himself, as either GOD, Son or operating partnership with God( trinity).

Later scribe exaggerated and invented Jesus divinity. Do your research it is actually worth doing.

Peace be on you(the reader)

It's a flawed logic to use the Koran to explain the Bible. The Bible especially the New Testament is 600 years older than Islam. To prove Jesus, let us go outside of the Koran and the Bible - let us use history.

You will find that history confirms Jesus existed, was born and most importantly, was CRUCIFIED. If you deny that fact - then there is no need to continue this conversation with you

Jesus said in John 5:
19 most solemnly I tell you, the Son is able to do nothing of Himself (of His own accord); but He is able to do only what He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does is what the Son does in the same way [in His turn].

20The Father dearly loves the Son and discloses to (shows) Him everything that He Himself does. And He will disclose to Him (let Him see) greater things yet than these, so that you may marvel and be full of wonder and astonishment.

21Just as the Father raises up the dead and gives them life [makes them live on], even so the Son also gives life to whomever He wills and is pleased to give it.

22Even the Father judges no one, for He has given all judgment (the last judgment and the whole business of judging) entirely into the hands of the Son,

I and the Father are one." john 5:30.

Then they all asked, "Are you, then, the Son of God?" He answered them, "You said it—I AM." Jesus Christ is the SON of God.

Broda think
STOP! STOP! STOP! If JESUS did not cleanse us through the death HE died on the cross, the HOLY SPIRIT WOULD NOT COME. THAT'S WHY HE SAID THAT IF I DO NOT GO BACK TO THE FATHER, THE COMFORTER WILL NOT COME. THAT COMFORTER CAME IN ACTS CHAPTER 2 VS 4.

Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of the prophecy from God, God promise to send the messiah who will come and redeem the world of it sin by dying for us sinner so we can all live forever in paradise , first of foremost Jesus Christ is not God but his only begotten son his first creation, the reason God chooses to send Jesus to redeem the world from it sin through merry because he knew if Jesus fall from heaven to the earth without parent you and me will never believe him, u will say he is an evil spirit show he brought him through virgin merry so u and me will convince, OK lets look it ways, how can a virgin conceived impossible its only by the grace of God, before merry conceive Jesus Angel Gabriel appeared to her, and told her u are going to give birth to the Messiah, she replied my lord how can u gave birth when I'm still a virgin Angel Gabriel replied by the Grace of God u are going to conceive, Brother Jesus Christ is not God, but true and only begotten son of most high God, he is the way to God,holy spirit are God acting force, for instant , u are Jesus and ur father is the god, and it happens that i want to ask ur father a favour, I will first approach you the Jesus then u will take the message to your father the god for an approval, Jesus is not God but his first creation, that's why we often use this phrase before Abraham the father of Christian and Islam Jesus was... I hope I have answer your questions
one more question please did you believed God has ultimate power over every thing, if yes then did you think God need assistant to know your problem and solved them if you asked him to do so. And people at the time of Abraham and moses if praying to God are they asking jesus to asked the most high to answer their prayers. Please why did the God in Christianity don't just forgive our sin without us paying for it with the blood of his son. Before i used to think God is the Almighty,he is not week, want you to asked him and he shall answer, just asked he shall forgive. Sent and guide some messages and prophet to reminded you of his existence and warn you of his punishment if your don't obey his command and he created you to worship him with your own free will that he gave.

Then you don't know him.

How can you quote the bible selectively? He says he is the only way.

How can you believe in someone without believing all his teachings.?
But do you know that the real Injil which was revealed to Prophet Isa(Jesus) PBUH is not what you Christians are using today? You guys use the ones that was rewritten by the Romans to suite their priests who were idolators..

A rule of thumb in Islam is that a Muslim must believe in Jesus. Any Muslim that reject Jesus is not a Muslim. Our difference is that we Muslims believe him to be a prophet born by virgin Mary. He isn't a God.

I am Christian and i say yes Our Lord Jesus Christ is not God the father, there is a deifference between God the father , God the son (Our Lord Jesus) and God the Holy spirit ( Emmanuel)

The Prophet Mohamed was truly a Prophet sent to teach the people of the region how to get close to God, but just like Christianity alot of false prophets have hijacked islam which is a beautiful religion to spread their hate (Terrorism).

Islam and Christianity are both one and the same, they teach to love not hate, to be peaceful not cause war, to spread kindess not terror.

But both the Pastors and Islamic teachers have twisted and turned the true message.

Stay blessed

For all my muslim friends on here, please bear with me as I unleash some Biblical proofs over some issues:

At least you accept the fact that Jesus Christ came into this world via a virgin Mary which makes a unique being among Prophets.

Can I say He was conceived without sin.

Sonship.

There in the Bible;

Matthew 3:17 says "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Mark: 1:11 says "And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Mark: 9:7 says "And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him."

Luke: 3:22. says "And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased."

Those are 3 of the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ giving accounts of what seen and heard while with Jesus Christ - more like news casting.

Tell me you don't believe in those.

Now the Jesus you believe in said this, coupled with written occurences by observers;

John: 10. 30. I and my Father are one.

John: 14. 20. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

Matthew: 7. 21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew: 10. 33. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew: 24. 36. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

John: 5. 43. I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

And many many more verses to establish fathership and sonship.

My question - why do you find it difficult to accept God calling Jesus Christ His son?

I learnt Mohammed was the Holy Spirit (Comforter) Jesus Christ said He will srnd while ascending into heaven.

John: 14. 26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

With sound mind and logical reasoning, how can Muhammad of all Prophets with many scandals be the comforter!

Muhammed did not get an inch close to Jesus Christ to being a Comforter, let alone of being one himself.

Muhammed is con artist, he had ideas of the Bible which he was able to pick and manipulate verses to suit himself. We now have the Sunnis and Shites a result of his unresurrecting death.

Jesus Christ performed miracles while on earth coupled with His merciful disposition.

Muhammed is not close to being Comforter - that hooligan is far away from it.

Until you tell me the Bible has been compromised long before now, then those quoted verses remain valid.

It's called circular reasoning. Muslims will only quote verses of the Bible to prove their point but they will later turn around and claim that the Bible is corrupt.
