So his development would have been hampered if he was played in his proper position. We have seen Iheanacho played in his proper position in the national team and has flourished. Scoring belters and award winning goals, while at City his goals have been tap in from rebounds, shots deflecting off his azz etc...
Oh please give me a break

If Nacho trained as a ten, he would not become one of the deadliest finishers in Europe today.

All these because I showed you Greizmann can play as a lone striker.

You can take the break you want.

He was already a deadly finisher before he went abroad. Manu Garba said Kelechi used to score 4-5goals in training playing as a no8....
If Man city plays him in his proper position, he may have gotten more than 6 goals already this season. Have you given that a thought?

Upon all the debate and I told you I like dynamic strikers, you are calling Sadiq Umar. That is not my kind of striker at all. My types are Tevez, Aguero, Suarez, Forlan, Messi and the latest Iheanacho.

Oga lemme help u out... Jordan was termed Air Jordan because whenever he does goes for a dunk especially with his leap from the free throw line, HE STAYS IN THE AIR FAR LONGER THAN OTHER DUNKERS.

HE even outshone Vince Carter in the dunking game in the NBA. smiley

I know my basketball bro. Was only speaking based on the positions he could play which will permit him to get into dunking positions. He was a shooting guard that could also play point guard, small forward and power forward.

So that's settled... smiley **So much throwing Jabs when you actually never knew why Michael was termed "Air Jordan" all along... Smh**

As for Nacho's nickname.... TAP IN MERCHANT IS WRONG!!!!!!! THE MOTIVE BEHIND THE NAME IS ALSO WRONG!!!!!!!!

SO SAVE YOUR CAMPAIGN FOR THE NAME.

Chai so u basically stole wat i said and added Vince Carter to it. Btw Vince was also named Air Canada and to some was a better dunker than Mike. He also is much younger than Jordan so Jordan could not have outshined him, the only time they were in the league together Jordan was already retired twice.

My point was that if it were up to people like u we no go hear word about how Michael could do other stuff besides dunking but who cares, people watch basketball 4 the dunks just like we all watch football for the goals. We are talking about Kelechi being in a conversation featuring the likes of Mullar, Chicharito, Aubameyang, Costa and u can even add Messi and Ronaldo as guys who are just serial killers in the box, like I said it is called tap in but it ain't easy. I would like to see u find the space make the run and finish with 3 rushing defending in sight. Pep said it best when u give the ball to Nacho he scores.

I dnt know if I am a lone on this but i have never really been so excited abt most of this English groomed talents.

All the Arsenal kids that played in today's game are not really exceptionally gifted. All them Miles, Adelaide, Zelalem and Willick are not better than our own Kelechi Nwakali, Musa Yahaya, Chidi Nwakali, Samuel Chukwueze.

Dnt get me wrong. I said most and not all.

No game time for Marc Bola.

The English System produced Dele Alli and Iwobi. Not all will be superstars but we should give opportunities to the talented ones. Ejaria is another one, i hope we do not lose to England.

Remember in the u17 wc when Musa Mohammed took a long shot and once the keeper spilled Iheanacho was there to finish. That goal off the throwing was one of the best finishing u will see home and away. His finishing has always been his biggest asset and u can't teach that, if not every English striker would have that talent. Just like Etebo who is just as deadly it is instinct mixed with technique and timing. We are not all equal as football players some were just born with it.

They will some come running. I saw Iwobi today all those young boys wanted to be like him, trying the same moves it was pleasing to watch. I believe the more he shines for club and country the more others get intriged. Still Ejeria should be our prime target it will be a shame to lose a player we already had in our hands.

Where did I say Iheanacho learnt finishing in England? See me and Yara Yara, see trouble.

I said, City play Iheanacho up front because, as you said in the bolded above, his biggest asset is finishing. He will have more chances to finish more playing up front.

If not City, Iheanacho might not get converted to a striker where he gets chances to finish at such frequency.

I've always known it. smiley

That's the reason he's called Air Jordan. It's not about the dunks but his "time in the air" before the dunks come slamming into those baskets. smiley

I know why I brought in Vince C.... Lol.. And yep, younger or not, he was outshone. Even Phelps outshone all his "younger rivals" in the pool at Rio 2016. wink

Look... You know what I am saying and you know why "Tap-in merchant" isn't a suitable name.

Pep says, "when u give Nacho the ball, he SCORES"

"Scores" can mean with a 25yards strike, an acrobatic shot, a header, a volley, a short run past the last defenders and beating the keeper, a round-the-keeper kinda goal, an outside-the-18 curler, a backheeled strike, AND EVEN A "TAP-IN"..... smiley

So it is he scores... NOT he "taps in" wink Get it?

Tap-in merchant doesn't fit Nacho and doesn't best describe what he is about centrally. He's more than "just tap-ins".

Saying someone is not as poor a player as many thinks does not make Sadiq Umar my favorite player. I repeat, that is not the kind of strikers I like. I was not happy when Manchester City wanted to sign Bony.

Just as I said, I defended Keshi a lot on the forum because I saw how he scaled the challenges he faced. That did not mean his pattern was my best.

First of all wrong it was not about him staying in the air cuz there was also a Clyde The Glide Drextler who slept in the air. Dr J who never went to med school was the first to dunk from the freethrow line even befoe MJ. Vince did not play with Mike, by the time Vince came in Mike was saying goodbye having just won his 6th and final trophy so they never faced off not even in a dunk contest. As a dunker Vince was just as good as MJ, how do i explain this? He jumped over a 7'3 man during a game at the olympics. His dunk contest is up there with anyone. So this is how i know u don't know what u are talking about. All 4 of his goals so far have been on touch plays i'm i making this up? His first epl goal was a one touch winner even against the spurs it was a one touch play, u cannot avoid these facts and if he keeps scoring at this rate i would be happy, all i am saying is he should do wat has gotten him here, i begged for Pep to release him but people asked me why but now u are angry that he is doing great at wat his coach wants which is to move around and find his chances. Maybe this is wat Eto'o and Ibra did not want to hear becos upon all Messi's abilties he is the more deadly finisher nobody slides in to finish a chance like Messi.

I don't know why two of u are arguing like this, pls be professional when it comes to analysis and don't be sentimental.

Please calling Taiwo back shows that Echijele did not leave to expectations and it w not be good for our football when we are yearning for younger players, though if we don't have options there is nothing we can do if Taiwo is recalled back.

On Oshaniwa, not playing regularly in lowly rated Scottish league is a minus for him and is not helping his football career. After world cup i thought this guy is going places coz d potential shows that he is far better than Echijele, may be due to poor agent he made a wrong move and is paying for it.

Echijele likely to still play LB against Algeria coz w lack quality replacement now but i don't see him as d best for d position coz d guy is diminishing and it shows against Zambia.I remembered Keshi dropped this guy and Ambrose for Madu and raheem lawal during d Afcob qualify.During this match Onazi moved to RB,Madu to LB and Lawal as DM.

It w take a coach that know Oshaniwa inside out to gamble on him coz of lack of playing time, not every player has d ability of Mikel, though I rate Oshaniwa than Taiwo an Echijele.

Well, as you said we need to analyse things professionally, but how come you rate Oshaniwa than Taiwo?

Is that professional?

Going by statistics, Taiwo is the best left back Nigeria ever produced. Oshaniwa never near.

One of our major problem is, we don't value form or class, what we want is young players.

If Italy followed our philosophy, Pirol no go make Italian team.
