no. As long as you have written something that people have read and given their opinion like writing on nairaland for example.

It's not easy being a writer in Nigeria, where
writers are treated somehow. I think we should
help one another achieve our dreams. I was
shortlisted for Etisalat flash writing contest, and I
need your votes. It's simple. Copy and paste the
link to your phone browser. Not opera mini or Uc
browser. Your main browser. You will see my
story. Please read the story and vote for me. You
will see a blue stuff with a thumb on it. Click on
it. You will be asked to log into Facebook. Once
you are done, you have voted for me. The link is

Thanks.

Good day members, I am very new in this section as a writer. Though I posted a fiction work tittled 'sleli the gigolo but no one ever commented, critcised, nor pour accolade regarding the works, I dont know why but presently I think I should do the needful by paying homage to the house. And lastly I want you people to shed more light on how to post ones' works such as copyright method, spacing and the host of others. Kindly give me the way to post my works so to improves and hones my way of writing...Thanks in anticipation I am castrol180 with pen name Ben Jay Jay

Castrol I have the same problem too.
People don't seem to comment on nl. Especially if one is new.

People don't know you. And sometimes some people take criticism the wrong way .

But keep writing and keep raising your profile.
I will do my best to comment on your work if I see it

Behind The Smile
No colour as grim As the colour green Behind the smile Is a devilish heart Behind the laughter Is the thought of slaughter
Give her a yard She'll take a mile She has no honour Though she's all glamour Its all a charade To keep up with the parade With no efforts she foils Daylong efforts of our toils
Nothing makes our hearts more heavy Than the pre emptive actions of envy.

Good evening people.

I have a slight problem and I would really appreciate it if you guys can help.

I started writing in 2013. I posted my stories on many platforms, websites and blogs.
A reader introduced me to Nairaland and I joined recently.

I have posted a completed true life story already and am already posting the second one. Some readers(about three already) told me they had seen this same story somewhere on wattpad and that I plagiarised the work.
This to me, as a writer is a slap to my face.
I dont know if a writer has encountered such problem, if yes please I need your advise.
Should I continue with the story or hold on for a while. I quickly want to finish this story(Engaged to a heartless CEO) so I could post other stories I have written.

I think the writer that posted a story on wattpad similar to the one I have either plagiarised this work or lifted some parts because I just don't seem to get it.

Am fuming with disgust right now....The same thing has happened to me.......started posting my story here some days ago only for my attention to be called to an account 247newsReports whatever. That has been copying and pasting my work on this site quite elaborately with his name written on it(moses chibuzor).....I have reported this but the keymasters are yet to act on it.........I have threatened legal action on this site if that impostor is not addressed accordingly and I stand by that angry angrywhat nonsense!!!!!
