Ebuehi has good fundamentals and uses both feet but his first instinct is to cross. He does not attempt to dribble or do anything special.

His game is currently on.

Thanks for the Mikel update.

Are Ebuehi's crosses accurate?

Do not break my ribs with laugh. One of the best players in the Championship for these two?

By the way Aluko plays as a forward or attacking midfielder. Different wings.

Nwobodo is better.

Nwobodo is better.

They play different roles. If it comes to ability on the ball and skills, Nwobodo has not started. Aluko is bloody skillful.

Maybe the most skillful player to wear a Super Eagles Jersey since Okocha left.

Give Nwobodo this assignment. When he does it, give me a call. Note this was against Liverpool in the EPL.

He is definitely more skillful on the ball than them. Take that to akawo.

Just to prove ur point u say Aluko is more skillful on the ball than Iwobi and Iheanacho?

Ok. Kontinu. I will draw u back to this ur statement one day.

So Rohr u don hear na. Aluko is better than Iheanacho and Iwobi. Hope its not too late to invite him for the Algeria clash?

Algeria can win in Nigeria - Belloumi
[/size]
by George Akpayen

Lakhdar Belloumi

Former Algeria international, Lakhdar Belloumi, is confident that his countrymen can pull off a win in Nigeria when they face the Super Eagles in a 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier on November 12.

The 57-year-old draws confidence from their feat of 35 years ago when Les Fennecs stunned Nigeria 2-1 in Lagos in 1981 en route to qualifying for the 1982 Fifa World Cup finals in Spain.

He believes "that winning on 12 November is certainly not impossible" for Algeria if they play to their strength.

"Algeria have a great footballing history. We've defeated Nigeria more than once. We beat them on their own pacth in 1981 and in Libya in 1982. My message to Riyad Mahrez and Co, therefore, is that winning on 12 November is certainly not impossible," Belloumi was quoted as saying by Fifa.com.

“We will win if we impose our style of play. Our team is powerful and united, and with a little bit of desire and heart, we can return home with three points in the bag.”

The former Algeria manager then deflected the pressure off his country's national team ahead of next month's game, insisting that the Super Eagles are "the ones under pressure."

He explained that the Nigerians will be keen to impress their fans at home and that should put them on the edge.

"On the contrary, I believe the Nigerians will be the ones under pressure as they're at home and playing in front of their own fans," he said.

The 1981 African Footballer of the Year added that Algeria's 1-1 draw in Blida with Cameroon was "a misstep" considering that they have found the Indomitable Lions difficult to play against in competitive matches.

“Our team is very strong. For me, the draw against Cameroon was just a misstep. And we mustn’t forget that Cameroon have a great team and a long World Cup history, and that we’ve never beaten them in an official match. Let’s put that slip-up behind us and concentrate on picking up three points in Nigeria,” he said.

Belloumi played at two editions of the Fifa World Cup in 1982 and 1986 in Spain and Mexico respectively.

Wat happened to packing the midfield and overloading the wings? U brought the arguement back up after the west ham match don't form like it's about Algeria now.

very compact defense, when on the defense it changes to 5-3-1, also effective in attack.

Then drop it because Algeria is not our last game ever! Give our brothers a chance don't just say becos the are African they won't be discipined, that got me really upset but still i let it go and then u came up with west ham which to me was an attack on the system. I will still say that Nigeria has the most deadly piece of the puzzle chelsea better watch out for juve if this system like u say does collapse. For me it has always been about Victor Moses getting to play with our top young talent at the same time.

But it's not about skills it is about getting the job done. Nwobodo is a fighter he works just as hard going backwards, he is fearless in front of goal and like Wenger would say he has a final ball in his locker. Looking at his first season back after a major injury i rate him over Aluko.

Aluko is a better footballer than nwobodo. Pls don't compare them. it is insulting. And far more skillful, shoot better than iheanacho & iwobi. Also very deadly with freek kicks. He's had his time, now is for iwobi & co who thrives on passing the ball teaching.

It actually changes to 5-4-1 when in defence mode, not 5-3-1.

Not watching the game, can any confirm Mikel is on the bench? Score sites did not list him on the bench.
Mikel won't ever make the chelsea bench again. He couldn't even make it in cup games. Conte rates fabregas and youngster chalobah ahead of Mikel. Mikel has to go in january for his own sake because he is not contes type of player.

Aluko is on real good form right now. He'll be an excellent addition to the team. He deserves a call up simple.

Aluko is better than both Nwobodo and Ajagun. Icon4s

The main problem with Aluko is consistency not talent. Aluko carried Rangers and Hull on his back at different points. Some of his assists yesterday were world class. It is just that he is not consistent.

Looking at the array of youngsters we currently parade in our forward positions would prefer to include rising players such as Nwobodo, Etebor, Solanke and the likes to an Aluko hu is already on a declining curve.

As I said, different roles. As for fighter, Aluko showed it for us against South Africa. I think also against Congo. I can not remember which of them, whether Sudan or Congo. He also had a brilliant game for us before SA.

You are free to rate Nwobodo ahead but Aluko is one of the brightest Nigerian talents. I hope he gets another chance to correct our wrong against him.
