How is little proudy, what's the situation like? You didn't give us any update to know what's up and know how to help. Am sorry you are passing through this, it's very hard and heartbreaking to see one's child sick and take care of a sick child.

Pls let's try and help them out since this is an "urgent" plea and futher delay may cause more harm. If we can donate anything for them, I believe it will help provide some things needed by the hospital to proceed with the treatment.

I had to pause am speak with them first, they said 60k is needed to continue treatment as the hospital have already stopped treatment for now.

Pls o, if we can donate any amount #500, #1000, 2k or even more, any amount as the spirit leads, I know things are hard. We are too many here and we can do it. Me I don't have much to donate but will donate my little token to save little proudy. I know if it's not that bad, proudmom38 wouldn't have come here to ask. She doesn't even behave like I am pregnant. Imagine we went to my aunties house together last weekend and she was asking me hope we will mop the house on Saturday I was so upset.

What is the position of your LO?
when my LO was in footling breech position (feet down and head up), she used to kick my pelvis. it was a very uncomfortable thing and the pain used to feel like an electric shock (i almost jump up in shock whenever it happens). I talked to my dr and he said it's normal cos of her position. Now that she is in transverse lie, it has stopped.

Talk to ur dr at your next ANC, he should able to tell what position ur LO is in based on the position of his/her heartbeat.

But I think it's your LO just doing some acrobatics down there due to excess space

@ chanbaby, I love the fact that your husband is standing his ground. Whose baby is it? Your mum's or your husband's? If you desire peace in your matrimonial home, now is the time to let your mum know exactly what your disposition is. As @babythug said, be polite but firm, tell her it's your baby and you won't release your baby for any incisions. As for the baby dedication, that should be you and your husband's prerogative not anyone else's decision. With parenthood comes a lot of maturity and responsibility and the earlier you state your boundaries as regards external influence, the better.

And for that your doctor, why is he acting like a local champ? You can choose to do your scan in a private lab if you are in doubt about anything. Scan can change sex? Mo tun gbo titun!!! He needs to calm down, he's not the only gynaecologist in the world. There is a scan you ought do between 18-20 weeks called the anomaly scan. Google it up, that's asides growth scans that are sometimes demanded by some obstetricians depending on the situation and progress of your pregnancy. If you aren't satisfied with his services, change doctors please. You deserve the best treatment in your pregnancy and you shouldn't be at any doctor's mercy because of his temper or agenda.

Has your doctor complained about your weight being too small for your pregnancy? if NO, then i don't think you should worry.
But if you still have doubts about it, you can raise the issue at your next appointment.

I have added just 7kg and i'm 34weeks - 3kg in 2nd trimester and 4kg in 3rd trimester. I used to worry when my weight didn't change for the first 23 weeks and my Dr said it happens. Not everyone undergoes the drastic weight gain cos pregnancies differ per person.

As long as you are eating well and have been certified healthy, then i really wouldn't worry. I think it's the other way round (weight loss) that should be a source of concern.

Some pple are adding weight anyhow. I dnt think I have added any weight since this pregnancy o. I was weighing 63 prior to getting pregnant and anytime I go for antenatal my weight has not passed 65kg since a month nw.

Good evening to all the mamas in the house, congratulations again to all Nov mamas that has put to bed and to the remaining team November, we are almost there. May Jehovah God continue to give us the needed strength to carry on and I wish all a safe and successful deliveries, we shall all carry our babies in our arms.
So my sister here organized a surprise baby shower for me on Sunday, I was so surprised I started crying. The show of love was overwhelming and we got beautiful gifts too.
Here is us at 38weeks and some of the gifts we got.

Hello Sixx, it maybe actually your own pulse, to confirm it if is ur pulse, just feel ur pulse below ur ear where ur jawbow ends and touch where you feel the pulse in ur abdomen, if it is the same then it is ur pulse, if not maybe baby hiccups like other mamas have said.

Mamas how are we doing? Hope we are great? You people should see me see wahala my Consultant Gynecologist was angry with me that I went to do a scan that told me the sex of my baby. He was like he didn't ask me to do any scan, that after the 13wk scan I did the next I was supposed to do is at 36weeks that I shouldn't be surprise if the sex changes. Even my mum that I confided in after I was told the sex was very upset that I went to do a scan to know that if I had told her I wanted to she wouldn't have agreed Imagine! In fact, feel so sad that I told her even wen my DH told me to keep it within us. Now I have stopped tell her things.

Then pls, help my mum said because this baby is her first grandchild she has made a vow to God to have the child dedication in her church may while, my husband and I attends a bible believing church like hers. I told her after our own church dedication I will give her the child to go and dedicate in her own church that we would go.

She also said they must cut the babies hair after 3months cos the hair smells since he came out with the hair from the womb. Also, she said will do incisions on the babies body. I said no that my DH said he does believe in all that. She then said we should be ready to get offended by the things she wants to do. She can say all dis cos DH is very quite and respectful but now DH is not finding any of her ideas funny and he is ready to give the shocker of her life. How u na see my matter. Help me put mouth.

She for talk say make una peel the pikin skin, nails and cornea, since s/he was with that same skin in the womb. Appalling talk. Mstcheew!

@Chanbaby, other mamas have said it all, you are your mother's child, she should have realized all her dreams with you and your siblings, your baby is your child not hers and that baby was made with no one else than your hubby, so you and hubby have "Sole authority and say" over your children. You may or not consider whatever proposition (that is what i will call it) anyone brings to you, how that will make them feel is not your headache biko.

I once watched an episode of Judge Joe Brown where a SonIL sued his FIL for throwing his grandchild up in the air playfully after the SonIL had warned him not to do that to his child, funny but made me realize the position of Parents and Grandparents.

My parents know better sha, even in this ATC my mum knows not to carry anyhow jist reach my side even when others suggest anything to her she would refer them to come face me by themselves.
