Am I still wrong too after paying your tuition fees in advance or fully paid for it. @justwise i av seen people approved with less than 1M but paid a semester or a yr tuition fees. It's wot i kno i'll post here not an assumption. God bless

The bolded settles the issue. Paying tuition reduces the stress on the closing balance. Same with having scholarships and grants.

SOA Cashflow without reasonable balance and not paying tuition or having access to scholarships n grants is a disaster waiting to happen.

Pls house I want to pay an application fee of 136.10CAD = 102USD.

Tried using a gtbank Naira Mastercard but i keep getting "sorry declined, enter lesser amount" Later learnt that the limit on the card is 100USD.

Please does anyone know a way out of this?

Thanks

So that is not the same as getting study permit with 1M in bank account because paying fees made a huge difference, why is it that people find it difficult to state things as they are?

People come here to deceive others...ooo i got TRV with 1M in my account but they never bothered to mention that they have paid all their fees.

Options!

1- open a domiciliary account if you don't have one or get someone with one to pay for you. This may be expensive. I have no concrete info.

2- get someone to pay in canny and send to siblings here. You need to negotiate and trust.

hmmmm.. From my observations some people who aint active members don't brief fully about their applications or documents submitted if successfully approved, either it was aided by an Agent which they have less knowledge about how the processes went or they just happily dropped testimony without giving extra details and exit the thread.
Meanwhile whoever comes here to deceive may not succeed in a second because "counters" are eagerly waiting.

Young man or woman no one here owes anybody any reply, you're the one being rude here

From your question your app is about 12 weeks old, all you need to do at this moment is wait, you would get a response in the coming week(s)

I have a Dom acct but that's damn expensive.

A friend in canada said gtbank charges him 290-300# per cad whenever he withdraws.

Why is Buhari doing this to us? Cant he just step down?

So found this info about school fee payment on some other thread and thought I should share.

Just my input on the best way to do form A. I waited this long to share this info because i wanted to try it first. I got all my form A payment within a week of applying. Though it was deducted in 3 tranches.

Sorry i cannot help with anybody's contact i just want to pass the info across but it is left to you to explore and utilize.

The answer to form A is Zenith Bank + Zenith staff + Abuja branch. What i mean by this is that Zenith give preference to her staffs when it comes to form A. And CBN gives preference to Zenith when it comes to forex.

So if you want your form A fixed with a week to two weeks:

1. Look for an Abuja branch Zenith bank staff
2. Fund his/her official account with the naira value of your tuition
3. Raise the payment invoice in his/her name
4. Send the invoice with your international passport and certificate
5. Then wait.

It took mine 8days when i went through this process, if you apply as a normal customer it will not might, it will take you upto 6months.

This is Nigeria, we always know someone that will know someone that works in Zenith that knows a colleague that works in Abuja. But i cannot help with that somebody.

Note. They might not want to come out straight to you.
But because lots of people has been selfless on the thread i decided to put in my widows mite too.

Believe me i got a very good exchange rate, infact lower than interbank rate.

Mine was even 10days......I applied and got medical invite in 10days. Now i am waiting for my TRV in maybe 20 more days grin wink. Hopefully, nothing is wrong.

About medicals, I used IOM abuja - it was the cheapest on the CIC list of panel physicians I received (N40,200) compared to Abuja clinic (48,500) or thereabout.

I actually don't know how doing this would help as a banker. Please doing this only put your money at risk coz branch staff doesn't have anything to do when it comes to upper hand in securing fx, this is basically a function of treasury/trade.

i agree with you. but i agree with the author that staffs are given preferences and have theirs processed at the main official CBN rate. mine took just (1) day to be processed when i did mine then, though my sponsor(mum) is a senior staff of the bank.but meeting a staff you don't know enough and have not established long term relationship before, is at risk in doing this.Money no be person friend oo..
