You should be fine. A Friend of mine had a similar experience and he was able to use that same pin on the receipt to apply for his F1. No qualms.

I really dont know but it should state Student visa, mine did then. Didnt you tell them the kind of visa before they started imputing the details? If you ask me, i think the person made a mistake and cant change it anymore.

You are good to go and confirm the barcode on ur ds 160 is the same as appointment confirmation page
