Your fathers have been joining forces with the north before Nigeria was created, so nothing has changed. You haven't benefited from it in any way but rather got your lineage more confused with 5th class citizenship to go with it.

Nairaland, the Niger Delta and the Igbos will never vote in a Northerner.

If the West want our support, let them support our NDA & our brothers IPOB.

You need to restore TRUST!

But first Karma needs to be served.

In the Niger Delta, we all say that

let karma run it's course first.

Tell your brothers here on NL to stop mistreating us.
As we said clearly

grin grin grin grin

MODS
If you like continue banning us for no reason.
as one igbo has already highlighted ur harshship.

Chiedu4Trump:

If so why are your brothers banning us here like no man's biz?

Your brother looked for a stupid excuse to ban me for months.
Saying I abused a NLer and yet notice he could not mention the insult.

Even at that, both regions have worked had to support most Nigerians...The Igbos are everywhere helping communities in interior locations with one service or the other, like trades, chemist, building materials, autoparts, and other wares. The north are everywhere too providing services in form food, meat and chores. While you lazy lots hide away in your cesspit in the SW, helping no one but yourselves...That's being clannish and selfish...How does an average South Westerner impact the lives of other Nigerians in Maiduguri, Kano, Onitsha, Aba, Abakiliki, Markurdi, Jalingo, Warri, Asaba, Agbor, Okene and several other towns and villages...? Of the three major tribes...SW should be heard least...Get it now!!!!

What are people from other regions flooding into Lagos if SW is not adding anything to them? Especially our people from the Ugandans.

So, how did the PhD-toting drunk fare? That's right, he was an ineffectual buffoon. grin grin

Our machinations have led to wisdom, time reveals all truths. Relax we dey come.

The only person who isn't greedy for power is the one who has no plans of ruling which is noone. If you weren't greedyor power, you wouldn't be weeping two years after about Jonathan's loss. It obviously still hurts you guys.

The Igbo race has presented no match to Tinubu throughout its history. I dare you present one such person in Igbo folklore, with proof of course. Don't just pull a name from your arse. grin

GEJ would always be a better choice to Buhari. If nothing, his presence meant that the Northerners excesses were kept in check. They were being frustrated. Being ruled by an infidel is something Muslims can't tolerate, it drove them mad and crazy, and when men are mad and crazy, their weaknesses become more exposed.

The plan was to keep the Islamic North far away from power as long as possible, frustrate them until they press their self destruction button and then we all can bury the colonial entity and move on.

But Yorubas won't have non of it, your greed and disregard for equity made you believe you could pip the Igbos for the presidency again, just few years after OBJ had spent eight years on top with Igbo support.
You felt you were wise and sophisticated, the Igbos were stupid and emotional, they don't know how to play politics.

You felt you could get Buhari to stay for just a tenure and hand over to Tinubu anointed candidate. Your greed and hatred blinded you from the fact that the North had her own plans too, and that giving banana to a monkey wasn't the problem, it's taking it away from him.
So, here we are.

There is no wisdom to learn from Tinubu forays so far. None. We all saw the trajectory of the path he took Yoruba race to, and we all knew where it was going to end, it was obvious to all, except to Tinubu and Yorubas.

I don' t know why this bitternes continue to exist b/w SW and SE. Am Igbo and will prefer SE and SW working together. The north west like political power so much. Not even north central can benefit from them, not to talk of SE. This what I warned SW before. NW cannot concede power to any other region except may be to NE.

When Ike Ekweremadu even mentioned the word 'Biafra', the whole Senate went into a frenzy. So, how on earth can you believe that they will agree to such demands. If we are to have our own country then it has to be achieved via other means- ones that don't initially involve the Nigerian government that won't even entertain such a thought. By 'disturbing the peace', I'm assuming that you're referring to the IPOB demonstrations, right? If that's the case then I don't understand why you're bothered by them as they've all been conducted in the areas that would actually be affected in the event of a secession. 1. Right now, SW Nigeria is the 5th largest economy in Africa and about to be the 1st largest economy in Africa because of the reasons listed below

2. The largest single refinery in the world is in the SW, not in the North, not in the SS and not in the SE

3. The largest petrochemical plant in Africa is in the SW, not in the North, not in the SS and not in the SE

4. The largest fertilizer plant in Africa is in the SW, not in the North, not in the SS and not in the SE

5. The largest Gas plant in Africa is going to be in the SW, not in the North, not in the SS and not in the SE

6. Oil is already on tap in the SW, not in the North, not in the SS and not in the SE

7. SW economy is the most diverseness in Africa from oil and gas to insurance, banking and finance, arts and entertainment, dominant food, literature and culture, not in the North, not in the SS and not in the SE

8. All the ground breaking projects are in the SW and nearly all the investments entering Nigeria goes to the SW, not to the North, not in the SS and not in the SE

9. 90% of the industries in Nigeria are in the SW, not in the North, not in the SS and not in the SE

10. The educated and ready manpower needed to move any society forward and desired by global investors are in the SW, not in the North, not in the SS and not in the SE.

At the end of the day, the North is going to hold on to Abuja while the SW holds on to the crown jewel which is Lagos state and everything I listed above and the SS of course is going to hold on to their oil, terrorists and militants to keep blowing up themselves..

So, in this scheme of things, what exactly is the SE going to hold on to? Your imaginary richness and zero infrastructure, zero industries and so on and on...?

You guys are just pathetically narrow-minded.
Igbos are the only people that have all these things you are saying.
First indigenous manufacturing automobile company @innoson
First indigenous petrochemical industry financed by only Igbos @orient oil
Anambra and Ebonyi can feed the whole of the East and there will still be enough left@abundant food.
We have Manufacturing companies in Aba that have taking art and craft to a whole new level. You can ask your conehead brother bukola saraki, he will explain it better to you.
We have coal, gold, palm oil, limestone and lastly oyelcheesy and gashigrin in virtually the whole of the East.
Foreigners are the ones who own most of the companies you mentioned in your so called SW, talk of Dangote. They are only capitalizing on you guys white-collar job mindset. They come to your land, build companies, employ you lazy Yorubas to be working for them; while they take advantage of your lack of being entrepreneurial, they collect the lion share and give you guys peanuts in return@ omonilegrin
Igbos come to the south west and outsmart you guys.
While you are shouting of being sophisticated, an Igbo goon(@linda ikeji) is somewhere in Victoria Island chilling and smiling to the bank with the ones who are sophisticated with all the certificates in the world sweating it out as office ratsgringringringrin

I am sorry, but like I told another poster earlier, we dont do final politics down southwest. If we think you do not or will not favour us you will not enjoy support. Jonathan did not enjoy support because he underperformed simple. We felt we should take our chance with someone else and we did. Surely, we have that right. Can you honestly say you would have voted Fashola over Jonathan had APC presented him, even though he's from the south and has proven himself worthy?

Unity is only possible as long as interests are mutually considered and pursued. Anybody who believes Yoruba betrayed igbos should be laughed to scorn, by thta loguc, igbos betrayed Yorubas when they voted OBJ instead of Olu Falae. Where is the Yoruba hue and cry that we were betrayed by our eastern neighbours? It never happened because we do not feel entitled to it. Nobody owes anybody anything, if you want me to do something for/with you, you must come with respect and also my own demands on the union. Otherwise, you can just fûck off and we both do things our different ways.

There's no need for you to get so emotional, we're on an online forum. Anyway, I'm not here to argue who betrayed who, all I'm saying is that there was an opportunity to create a united South but that opportunity has passed and will probably never arise again. Oh well undecided. Nigerian politics has always centred around tribalism and each region wants to do what is best for themselves, which is why no non-Igbo person should complain when certain groups want independence.

Do you see SWners running to the north or the SE or even the SS for anything? Or in your puerile mind, the fact that Nigeria still exist as a country means the SW can not stand on her own?

You want your ipob village, but you are yet to pack your load from the SW and the North back to your village, your governors, ministers and national leaders are yet to resign from the Nigerian government and start fight for their ipob village so what are you talking about? Or that's what you call standing on your own?

SW want bridge,m they build their own bridge, but SE want bridge, they have to beg and beg the FG for 30 years to build 1 little bridge so is that standing on your onw?

SW want airport, they build their own, but not Igbos, they have to beg and beg the FG to build it for them? Is that what you call standing on your own?

The FG bastardized Lagos Badagry express and refused to fix it, did the SW cry or beg for 30 years? No, they took the road from the FG and are now turning it into a 10 lane freeway with Metro rail and BRT access, 1st in Africa, something they won't experience in your village in your lifetime.
