It's 4 pods on ops in the DRC. Might be wrong, but I think the outer pylon is for AAMs.

Local Nigerian vehicle manufacturer, innoson motors, delivers light utility vehicles to the Nigerian army.

Most likely for state tests.

Am in love with the pickup version.

can be pass on to proforce for armour.

those two need to collaborate to give our military a befitting combat truck. time for hilux for retire.

just hope the IVM vehicles are up to the task.

That retarded Africaken254, has contributed his fair share to African military media. Although he is mostly ignorant on some matters, and has his Africaken moments you have to praise the immense efforts he has put in.

He is Maumau, that was his moniker at militaryphotos. Net. He virtually single-handedly ran the African military thread for at-least 2 years.

He deserves an applause for his efforts.

So according to this article by Punch Nigeria, NAF is still getting those Super Tucanos but from brazil this time around, the chief of air staff is even quoted saying it.

"Abubakar said that the NAF was expecting four Mi-35m attack helicopters from Russia, three Super Tucano from the Brazilian Air Force and three JF-17 Thunder from Pakistan.

The CAS made the comment while speaking at the NAF’s operations seminar with the theme, ‘Developing Effective Air Power Responses to National Security Challenges in Nigeria’ in Abuja on Wednesday."

I also prefer the Pickup version. It's a utility vehicle, and can fulfill multiple tasks just like the Hilux vehicle. The pickup looks like it has some armour, although I'm not sure.

It is impossible for the military to retire vehicles like the Hilux, believe it or not, those vehicles play an important role, besides no army can field entirely armoured brigades , motorized infantry remains an integral part of armies.

However, Proforce and innoson vehicles can enable us cut down our number of Hilux vehicles.

What Proforce or Innoson needs to do is build vehicles from the chassis of a Ford F150 or a unimog truck. We have so far seen vehicles from Proforce which are beautiful and we'll armoured, but the are primarily law enforcement vehicles, essentially police APCs.
