Hi everyone! It seems like there's no thread for work permit applicants. Just study and visit. Please is there anyone on this platform that applied for work permit visa to Canada this year? How long did it take? Your experience? Please do not ignore . Thanks so much everyone |

joblinks1:Its called Q-life... there are jus 2 mentioned on the cic website for lagos... IOM at ikeja and Q-life at Victoria Island. Q-life charges 28k and IOM 40k. They offer the same service and both submit using e-medical. Although there are others but these are just the more popular ones. |

Mikymiko: Okay, how much was it & which 1 do you think is fastest in processing? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 2:34pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
Igbouwanile:I paid 28,050 to Consultant practice as at April. I think the medical fee is still same today. I believe all the approved hospitals should be operating at same pace. Go for anyone you can afford (by way of proximity/nearness and cost). |

henrinco: Sorry for replying a bit late, it depends on your school tuition, I think room and Board should be 10k, plus about 5k. Add these to your tuition and sum up. 1 Like |

Hello House.. Please I'm asking this question on behalf of a friend. He got admission into Durham college for winter 2017 but got the admission letter in sept 2016. However he applied for his visa in oct. Now the issue he's being scared of is that 'on his acceptance letter, it was stated that fees must be received by dec 1st 2016 to secure his seat' He actually applied without paying anything because of d whole problems in fee payment with banks & he didn't want to waste more time so he went ahead to apply for his visa. My qtn now is 'do u guys think this will affect his Trv approval? Though as at October when he applied, he had & still has till dec 1st to meet this requirement. According to him, it's also stated on his letter that fees will still be accepted after this date but with a late payment charge. What do u guys think? Kindly respond. |

Sigh! It's well. Please dear if you get any response, alert me please. I also did upfront Medicals and I don't know why it's taking this long. Did you use an agent or you applied your self? On the cic site it says 16 weeks but yours is more than that oo. Have you tried sending Accra office a mail? eridemilade: |

Guys, If you applied for your study permit without the temporary resident visa form and the application has been approved, does that mean I have to apply for another visitor visa? Please help I'm worried |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 11:48pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
Lawad1:At the time your study permit is approved, your temporary resident visa(TRV) will also be on your passport to enable you travel to canada before you can then get your study permit at the point of entry(airport). You don't need a separate application for the TRV. It will be stamped on your passport before it is returned to you if you used the paper application. A passport request will be communicated to you if it's online application so they can issue the TRV. You do not need the 'temporary resident visa form. In all, you can only apply for one visa at a time. Study or visit. 1 Like |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 6:38am On Nov 17, 2016 |
lyndaugochukwu: Greetings, Sorry for the late reply. For the tuition, since it's stated in your admission letter then it's OK. However, you must show that you can pay the first year tuition by having sufficient funds in your account. You might as well decide to pay the fees if the terms and conditions are favourable. The best bet would be for your sponsor to transfer the funds into your account and write a letter to that effect. Your sponsor must state why he wants to sponsor you and must provide an affidavit to that effect. The sponsor been a 3rd person must ensure that sufficient funds are indeed available at least putting into consideration funds for the immediate family. Indeed the best bet remains transferring the funds to your own account. 3rd person sponsorship requires absolute definition of genuineness. #prayer and faith still remains invaluable in this journey. I wish you all the best in your academic endeavour. 4 Likes |

Nony1: thank you so much nony1 for sparing time to reply me. l really appreciate. On the tuition payment, my spouse(2nd sponsor) is swearing an affidavit to that effect because he is the one paying my tuition. then other financial payment will be paid by my 1st sponsor. How do u see it? Prayer and faith has being the reason l have come this far and is definitely done by God's grace. |
