Animes come from Japan. Contact with black people is pretty much limited.
Also; just because they don't feel the urge to represent every race in their animes doesn't mean they don't like ethnic people.
I think you're falling into this special mind trap blacks get when they see a great movie and are just dissatisifed a black person isn't there.
