Even if you empty the federation account into their pockets they won't stop this kidnapping, the Niger delta struggle has been hijacked by mainly Iceland cultists, they would rather carry guns in the creeks than do a honest job. It's no use just keep bombing them.

In the case of crude oil theft/bunkery(kpó fire) they are being aided by Nigerian security forces most times. Stop going after vandals and go after corrupt officers.

I don't completely agree with u there.
I was present in the delta when it was very hot and actively interacted with these chaps in the bush.
Do u think its easy to sleep in the bush with mosquitoes the size of your fist?
These chaps just want to live a normal life.
A lot of them are actually educated. You can see his English is not bad.
They want to be able to take care of their families.
They see the oil companies as part of the problem, who are unwilling to be part of the solution.
The oil companies connive with the government to keep the area underdeveloped because it serves their purpose and provides huge security budgets for European and American ex-army chaps.
If I can't fish because of gas and oil flared by oil companies
I can't go to school because my father can't make money from fishing to send me to school
I watch my uncles die because no hospitals exist there
Of course I will carry weapons against the oil companies and the state.
That's a given.

I completely disagree, and i am specifically talking about these guys in the AJE documentary. These guys, the Companies and the government are the part of the problem. They are all in the same boat.

It is the responsibility of the state and local government to provide hospitals, not the federal government. While states like Rivers, Akwa-Ibom and Cross-River (which is now a non-oil producing state) decide to provide infrastructure for the citizens, states like Bayelsa with only 8 local governments has nothing to show apart from continuous violence.

These are areas i know very well, those blokes in that video and many in the Delta who commit these crimes are un-educated rif-rafs who have refused to go to school, refused to learn any handi-work, refused to make any meaning with their lives apart from causing havoc and waiting for amnesty money.

You're making criminals look like victims.

Some of your comments are becoming rather unfortunate. It is easy to sleep in the bush, especially when you know you're sure to get nothing lower than 5 - 10 million naira. Tell me what is hard there? These criminals are nothing but a bunch of thugs, who are too lazy to look for anything meaningful to do with their lives.

Wrong, a vast majority of these guys are un-educated, i remember during GEJ era, quite a number of them were ship off to Private Universities (Benson Idahosa, Igbenedion etc), and were paid 60k stipends a month. None of those guys could pass common test questions or do basic assignments, until the Universities got tired and threw them out.

A guy who doesn't have a basic education nor any handi-work cannot claim to love his family, in-fact, you shouldn't even try to raise a family in the first place. With no job, no money and a family to feed, off-course the only way out is crime.

Na tok be dis, na job of federal government to develop water-side?

It is the responsibility of the State governments, we operate a Federal system of government. With each tier of government having it's own budget.

The state government doesn't negotiate with the IOC, only the Federal government can, the Federal government does not have any jurisdiction in the states, only the State governments hold sway in their states. So how did your supposed "connivevance" come from? I don't know were you're pulling your ridiculous claims from?

You cannot fish because you're also part of the problem, when you blow up pipe-lines in your river, what magic do you want to do to be able to fish?

When the government comes to provide infrastructure, you first ask for "marching ground" to be paid to you, who are you deceiving?

That's the first thing I often verify. There's a difference, the Galil has a shorter folding stock in comparison to the R5, that pirate was clearly holding an aged R5 (or at least a baldy maintained) .... I don't know if they'll air the program again (People and Power).
Having watch the video i agree its not a Galil.........however i still think its an LM-5 and not an R5, and i say his due to the fact that its much much much easier to acquire a LM5 than an R5! but then again it just as easily can be a R5, there's just no way to tell!!

I'll assume it's part of the weapons they get after assaulting installations. I don't think ex-military security would use semis to guard unsafe waters when the pirates are armed with automatics while attacking at high speeds.

My comments are unfortunate because it doesn't conform to your narrative.
I will tell the truth as I see and believe it.
Dem never born person Wey go shut my mouth for this forum.
I stand by what I have said.
And I reiterate that I actively engaged some of these folks when the insurgency was at it's peak prior to the demise of Soboma George and Togo.

So who are all these militants in degree and postgraduate schools in UK, U.S, Malaysia, Philippines and the pilots trained in south Africa

Obviously there are some of the militants who aren't educated. That is also a given.
If u have not been or lived in the Niger delta, the reality of my key points and issues btw FG & oil coys will sound Greek to u.

You keep calling them criminals, yes, some maybe; but we know one man's criminal is another man's freedom fighter. Nelson Mandela
My comment about the mosquitoes was an attempt at levity; however, even Ateke Tom, General Boyloaf and his lieutenants pointed out that prolonged bush living took their toll on them- yes, including the mosquitoes.

Newspaper articles have been written on this and I'm sure just an elementary Google search will shed some light.

I no get time to overflog these issues in front of southies. 9ja people Wey dey here know wox up.

Be advised Henry, I won't shut up or tow your political line to make u happy. And I will not shut up on this blog or bidexii's.

When you keep kidnapping contractors on site, and making absurd demands before projects that would be beneficial to your community are executed or ask for monetary value instead of infrastructures truly there is no excuse.
