I thought about that too, but I think it was to play along as Caroline was on the phone at that time. What I didn't get was, as a supernatural being she's supposed to heal by herself, but she needed Caroline's blood to do so.


Tyler is a wolf, but that wasn't a fulllmoon, so he's almost as useless against a raging Damon.

The werewolves in tvd and originals are weak and it annoys me every time i think of it. that's the way their characters were written anyway..

It stripped him of his Hybrid powers, and he died from because it was the Hybdrid-magic that was keeping him undead (alive). After he crossed over to the side of the living through Bonnie (S5 finale), he returned as an ordinary werewolf. When he killed Liz (s6 finale) he triggered his werewolf curse again.
