| Re: How Do You Authenticate God? by Lucasiangrey: 2:35am On Nov 19, 2016 |
You guys claim once you leave god you automatically belong to satan.meaning that christians preach to convert those under the control of satan.from the bible, god couldn't convert satan that he had to send him down here.what makes you think you can do what god could not do? Or may be god could have changed him but just wanted some of us to perish with satan in hell since he was annoyed as at that moment or just to prove he is a loving god. |

@DoctorAlien. Do you mean you would gladly exterminate a tribe of Idolaters who have never heard about your God or experienced him, if he commanded it? |

KingEbukasBlog:Really? ? ? ? ? HERE: 1 Samuel 15:24-29 -- Then Saul said to Samuel, "I have sineed. I violated the LORD's command and your instructions. I was afraid of the people and so I gave in to them. Now I beg you, forgive my sin and come back with me, so that I may worship the LORD." But Samuel said to him, "I will not go back with you. You have rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD has rejected you as King over Israel!" As Samuel turned to leave, Saul caught hold of the hem of his robe, and it tore. Samuel said to him, "The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbours -- to one better than you. He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind: for he is not a man, that he should change his mind." I want you to peruse this perspicaciously and cogitate over it. |

DeepSight:Jesus was not totally human - a demigod - so how could he be a human sacrifice? Immolation of humans in the pagan nations was mainly to propitiate their gods . Secondly , Jesus was an incarnation of God himself who gave his life willfully for the remission of sin . Another reason is sovereignty as God , he is not subject to his own laws . |

joyContraMundum:So God changing His mind denotes fallibility , imperfection which in fact contradicts his omniscience and nature . |
| Re: How Do You Authenticate God? by DeepSight(m): 9:02am On Nov 19, 2016 |
KingEbukasBlog:This undermines any notion that the Abrahamic God is just. |
| Re: How Do You Authenticate God? by DeepSight(m): 9:04am On Nov 19, 2016 |
KingEbukasBlog:Is it really true to say that the Abrahamic God does not change his mind? Small question: Have you read the Bible back-to-back? |
| Re: How Do You Authenticate God? by KingEbukasBlog(m): 9:05am On Nov 19, 2016 |
DeepSight:How exactly ? |
| Re: How Do You Authenticate God? by KingEbukasBlog(m): 9:12am On Nov 19, 2016 |
DeepSight:Yes sir If God changes his mind , then it contradicts His Nature as an omniscient being who knows the end from the beginning . God "changing His mind" means changing how he relates or works with humans to achieve the same ultimate plan as an omniscient being . Its like having a plan and knowing its corollary as an omniscient being and choose to achieve this plan a thousand different ways . It does not impugn your omniscience. |

DoctorAlien:This your God is dumbly ridiculous. Pleading for love and worship from humans! When it didn't get it, it goes berserk and delusional. Too bad for God. |

KingEbukasBlog:What a puerile thinking. Corollary in an opposing cause and effect matter? Where did you learn the use of English from in particular? *God said i will punish sin from the head of the sinner, to his 4th generation. *God turned 360° and said, not anymore, the sinner WILL now be punished ALONE. what a stable God in reverse. |
| Re: How Do You Authenticate God? by Nobody: 9:48am On Nov 19, 2016 |
DeepSight:Hahahahaha...... God committed suicide to save us from the "Original Sin" he himself imposed on us in the first place!! It's the most ridiculous Deicide I've ever heard of! And why did God engineer it.....? Because, you see, the stain of Original Sin could only be lifted by.... By what? Hmmmmmm, what would YOU do? Perhaps, you would say: "Well, I'm a loving, forgiving and compassionate God, so, I'll tell you what, I'll go ahead and pardon them." Easy, huh? Actually, that's not the answer. The "answer" God came up with, in a moment of divine genius was: "OK, I'll send my own son (who?!) to Earth as a little Jew man-king, or something, and then get him horrifically killed by crucifixion. That should do the trick." WTF!! No one needs attempt to examine the "logic" of this because there isn't any. Apparently a monotheistic God can conjure up a son (who is also himself, somehow) who can then be killed as a weird sacrifice to himself. This sacrifice of God to himself somehow absolved humanity of Original Sin. No, hold on, it DIDN'T. If it did, we would have no further need of Christ, so that would be no good. No, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ meant only that we weren't now certain to go to hell because of Original Sin. Now, if he chose to confer his grace upon us, some of us might make it to heaven. Yippee! So, this wondrous divine sacrifice didn't in fact release us from Original Sin. Its only effect was to make it possible, if we become part of the Christian religion, to be saved if we did everything the Church required of us. But if we didn't become Christians then we went straight to hell just as before i.e. Christ didn't die for humanity but only for Christians. Christ's sacrifice was no magnanimous gift to humanity. It was just a means to get people to join his church, and if you refused you were damned. Yet again, the old Terror tactics are seen to rear their head. Yet again, "God" threatens and bullies humanity. "My way or hell," is his brutal message of unadulterated Terrorism. No wonder Abrahamism has spawned so many terrorists given that it's founded on the quintessence of terrorist principles. Obey or Perish! Do what I demand or die! If you're not for me, you're against me. Religions have to manufacture a reson why you need them and, moreover, to continue needing them. Christ's divind sacrifice doesn't redeem us of the Original Sin that he himself inflicted on us. What it does is make us forever dependent on him. Adam and Eve disobeyed God hence all of humanity was condemned to hell forever. God, via his weird divine suicide, then gave us a second chance. We are back where we started. Either we show him absolute obedience - or we go to hell! How does the sacrifice of God to himself remove (partially) the stain of Original Sin? In fact, what does it have to do with Original Sin at all? God chose to impose Original Sin on us. He could therefore have chosen to lift it without any fuss. But, no, he creates some weird scenario of arranging his own death and this, somehow, allows him to give us a chink of light, a possibility of being saved from hell. Why should God's suicide have any connection with Original Sin? If you wanted to change your mind regarding a previous decision, would you sacrifice yourself to yourself, or simply change your mind? Apparently God's honour or sense of justice, or some such thing, demands that he can only change his mind about Original Sin if he performs a divine Sacrifice of himself. Preachers constantly proclaim, "Jesus died for your sins," Which makes him sound noble. But the truth is that it was this same "God" who branded us as sinners in the first place. "Jesus CREATED your sins," doesn't sound too good, does it? "Jesus sentenced you to hell because Eve ate a delicious fruit," doesn't sound too good, does it? "Jesus committed suicide rather than simply choosing not to regard humanity as sinful," doesn't sound too good, does it? That, of course, IS the truth. But if the preachers told the truth, everyone would give up on Christianity and the preachers would have no power. And that's no good, is it? How can anyone take this Christian shiit seriously? It's mind-bogglingly dumb. Over two billion human beings are infected by this deranged drivel. Is that not infinitely terrifying? Who can doubt that most of humanity is either mentally retarde'd or dangerously stupid? |

akintom:Corollary means the natural consequence or result that naturally follows . You may not know the consequence of your actions now but God's prescience can reveal that to you . Those two instances you mentioned have a really long interpretation and explaining it to you is otiose since you are an atheist . I've learnt my lessons from my question and answer thread - I know when its appropriate to respond to you and when to just ignore your ramblings . |

KingEbukasBlog:Sharrap there! Stop trying to act smart. Just admit that you have no answer...... Spout the usual nonsense you do when it gets too hard to think about, when your position is not rationally tenable. Not telling him that he won't understand your "explanation" as though he's in kindergaten. What rubbish. Lemme help you. Here are the options: 1) God works in mysterious ways (i.e. I don't know what I'm talking about). 2) Our finite minds cannot comprehend the infinite Divine Mind. 3) It's a matter of faith. Come on, pick one already and stop yarning nonsense. |

Lucasiangrey:He's NEVER gonna answer this. You can count on it. He's gonna deviate from that question and give you a totally UNRELATED answer. They've changed the subject of the thread because answering that question with honesty and remaining a Christian is impossible, unless you're ready to start exhibiting Orwellian Doublethink and holding contradictory beliefs (on a much larger scale than before; 'cause they've been doing that). No honest, truthful person with a rational bone in his body can give a straightforward answer to the OP and remain an Abrahamist Now, that's a FACT. |

KingEbukasBlog:Thank you very much. This kinda escape tactic is not new to me. Downplay my intelligence and mental capacity and run away afterwards. No qualms, I can understand. It's what many have done to me in order to escape whenever I catch them pants down. Thanks for your time. Very funny guyIf you had answers, you wouldn't have said that to him. |

For religious people , they authenticate god when it feels good to them. The unspoken methodology is it feel right then its of god. But they don't understand that their immediate environment determines their feelings. Let's look at dejavu, if neuroscientists didn't define that process many humans would have seen it as a real mystical phenomenon. Let's look at falling in love or infatuation. When you fall in love with someone, you get the feeling and conviction that you guys are meant to be and the relationship must work but the truth is eventually revealed and most times the truth debunks our conviction. This same emotional convictions is what religious people use to authenticate their god. Due to their ignorance, they usually take it as a true sign and symbol of the right choice. They foolishly think that other religious people don't have a strong enough conviction. Muslims think their inner conviction is deeper than Christians and vice versa. Christians think Hindus and Buddhists are jokers that purposely rejected their one true god because they lack the inner confirmation of truth. Religions are like people living in a block of flats. They cook, go to work, sleep, eat, party and basically do everything in their own flat, but they ignorantly think no one occupies the other flat, they don't realize that all their rituals , beliefs and hopes are also mirrored in the next flat. Sometimes you wonder how this phenomenon occurs. In reality, every body usually accepts the fact that their neighbours are human like them and are also have feelings, aspirations that are similar to theirs. But in religion, that realization isn't there, you see Christians hating Muslims not realizing that they are so close to the Islamic religious belief. I think religions achieve this by 3 methods ; 1. Demarcation of the mind- this is done by preaching and promoting blind faith and trust. Religious people are taught not to question their beliefs from childhood there by keeping them in their mental compound of belief. It's similar to telling your 5 year olds not to get close to the gate or walls. You do that because you want to ensure that they remain indoors due to their age. But religions do this even till adulthood. The demarcation is eternal for religions. 2. Obsfucation. They do this to protect their beliefs from foreign threats. They stereotype every differing belief system before it is given a chance to be considered Christians have a stereotype for every belief system By doing this, they win the minds of believers before a battle begins. Religion is just like shepherding or cattle rearing. You have to keep your livestock together in order to milk them. No wonder Christianity uses the good shepherd theme. The ironical thing is that no matter how nice a cattle rearer is to his cows, they exist for one purpose which is to be slaughtered for a profit. Religious people are livestock in a ranch and they are protected in order to protect profits |
