Every month, something strange and wonderful happens to a woman. Her body begins to prepare her for conception. Her uterus takes on a protective lining, to keep the anticipated foetus safe and to help it grow into a baby. Then her fallopian tubes release an egg, waiting for a sperm cell to fertilise it. When this doesn't happen, the body realises that the "preparation" wasn't necessary after all, as the woman had no intention of conceiving a child. The body realises it would be foolish if the uterus retains that special lining, as there is no foetus to develop. Keeping this lining would lead to several complications. It then decides to shed this lining. And then a woman sees her period. The same cycle repeats itself every month.
Tell me you don't think there is beauty and order in this whole process. The body is smart, smarter than some of you who think that the time, effort, initiative and order in this is "disgusting".
And, most of you would gladly drink from that tap where the "disgusting" flow comes out from.

what makes you think that i didnt study reproduction (biology) in secondary school and that you are the one educating me about the feminine cycle?
for your info i havent drank from that tap yet.

This transcends "knowing" Biology. You may know all these but you don't understand the beauty and significance of it.
Eventually, you will drink from that tap. Unless of course, you're queer.

on a more serious note, it is natural and a sign of fertility. i dont think there is anything wrong with that.
