Your father is your father, and your husband,your husband.
Same as a wife is a wife, and a mother, a mother.
All different relationships.
Your husband can never love you like your father, neither can a wife love you like your mother.
I will not deceive myself otherwise. It is what it is.
If the chips are down, human nature will always show itself.
However, I do understand there are useless mothers and fathers who cannot be emulated. Just as there are useless wives and husbands.
A woman who grew up without a decent father will always look for a father in her husband. That's not bad in itself, if it works for their family. But it can equally be stifling, as he also has to be a father who's there for his own children.
One can still live a wholesome life while married, outside marriage. I don't mean cheating, but having other healthy relationships aside from the one with your spouse. Good relationships with colleagues, neighbors, siblings, friends etc
If you can have this, a healthy relationship filled with respect is easy to achieve with your wife/husband and children.
Remember, the goal is an all-round healthy relationship, where both husband and wife are happy, fulfilled with no regrets. But I can tellbyou quite a no of seemingly happy marriages are filled with regrets
