Goodmorning to you all....pls i need your advice on what to do
my undergraduate research area was on enzyme conversion of starch...although i made an excellent grade in it but i do not want it as my research area for MAsc at university of waterloo..
do you think a supervisor/graduate studies faculty can accept my application if i decide to choose another research area which interests me more but with no previous research work?
example: choosing process system engineering(I made A's in the courses relating to this area but did not embark on project or research on it as an undergraduate)
thanks and anticipating for ur response

You have best comment to it already. To shorten it, dwell a lot on the supervisor's research and how motivated you are to work with him/her.

Mail me for reliable travel company. For CAD.... its better you get someone in canada who needs naira and do an exchange or better still, go with USD as you may not readily find CAD around. Its no child's play getting dollars at the official rate these days ooo.
You guys hv been selfless on this thread and deserves every assistance that there is!

You can use 'western union global pay' but you will have to source for dollar to pay into your Dom account.

Ok. Thank you. Been on this fee stuff since yesterday. Finally found a way with GTB today.

Hello House
Please who knows how & where I can get a cheap flight to Toronto against 28th of December? Please don't tell me to check wakanow because their prices are outrageous. Also, to those who just picked up their passports, my passport was dispatched on Monday, when can I pick it up? Lastly, those already in Canada, what are we likely to face at the point of entry? tongue

Try Flighthub, CheapOair, Expedia, Gala travels. The fare might be better but it will still be high because you are booking late for a busy period for that matter. Point of entry, they will just ask you want you are coming to Canada for, what school, course, blabla, collect your passport, some other docs( like admission letter) and give you your permit.

So house, I really need your advise and suggestions as to how to go about this.

I have a sponsor who is not family not even same tribe but he is willing to stand in as my sponsor. My challenge now is how to convince the VO that he truly would sponsor me. Please help with tips that will increase my chances of approval. Its PGC and am going the paper route.

Also, I will be using a co-sponsor who is my brother in-law. What would I need to request from him?

No I didn't use Form A. It was getting too difficult with plenty stories. My mom's friend is taking me to her 'Aboki' tomorrow, I'll buy from him and pay into my dom account with gtb and then go ahead to pay. She told us the guy is at Alade Market and can be trusted. For USD, u can try Alade if you are in Lagos but I don't know if they will have CAD.

ofcourse they will, they will staple your study permit to your passport, that is why they collect it. NEVER leave your documents in your checked in luggage, always have them in your hand luggage. if you are booking a connecting flight, be sure to confirm if you need to transfer your luggage by yourself or not, otherwise you may arrive Canada with no bags shocked

bro ur sponsors are all 3rd parties.this requires careful thoughts and packaging to be able to make it convincing to the VO.i would advise you specify that other stand-in sponsor as uncle without much stories.i have seen it work for others but it requires a smart presentation of the sponsorships as a whole.

To get USD in Lagos at parallel market price is not that hard, get to bereau the change inside Eko hotels compound and you can buy as much USD as u want. But be ready to buy around 470 per dollar cos I sold dollar at 460 per dollar today at the same Eko hotel and suite. Getting USD at FX price is what can be extremely difficult.
