When I was a kid,... I thought it was just sleep, play, eat.... but now, I just realised that if Boys no hustle, Man no go chop...

As a kid I believed all jet li's film trick.

As kids, lot of thoughts runs through our head which we find out to be absurd while we are grown. These thoughts are influenced on how we view things as kids and we end up creating funny theories based on our perception.
While I was younger (3-6 years), I was always coming up with theories and updating them when necessary. They were known to me alone some of which are:
1. i had thought macaroni causes the production of phlegm and so, causes the mouth to stink;
2. i had the view that children below 5 would return to become babies if they are allowed into the hospital ward. this was as a result of me being disallowed to go past the reception because i was "small";
3. in relation to number 2, i thought babies were manufactured in the hospital and being in the hospital they can never grow. i later updated my theory that women gets pregnant only when married; others
4. i can fly at the sound of trumpet;
5. food eaten drops to toe till it gets to the head;
6. the top of a mobstick are dreadlocks.

As a kid and being the last child in the family, I had thought its only little kids like me that could be last born. The day my sister told me my dad was the lastborn of his family i did not believe it. And i never believed it till i grew up.

My father died when I was 5.....on the day of his burial one of my uncles told me that I shouldn't cry because my Dad has gone to rest and he will be back on his 1 year memorial service. But before one year I realized that others who died before him did not come back after 1 year

when I was a kid I thought, bona was made for pissing only... I never knew, it's got greater role to play than the pissing role

I can vividly remember this conversation with mum while she prepared breakfast on a Saturday morning:

ME: Mummy do you know God use to see when people marry?
MUM: Hmm, Rex you have come again.. Oya tell me bout it.
ME: Once somebody marries, he will put a baby inside the woman stomach. Look at aunt Rose, when she was staying with us there was no baby in her stomach but now there is.
