It is my opinion that unfortunately our Nigerian brothers have absolutely no respect for us. This is largely due to our own behaviour around them.
So if you looking for a proper Nigerian guy to marry you and take you home to mama, I think chances are rather slim.
But ofcourse, cases differ....Goodluck Sisi

I have seen maaaany cases such as the one you mentioned and it's really sad but like you said it's soley dependant of the woman.

I have a few very nice nigerian/southy couples.... And those men respect their wives.

so maybe oneday when you do meet one, just be yourself.

it's not only dependent on the woman but also on the man and his experiences. This is the case not just with Nigerians but everyone..
Personally, I am myself no matter who am with..
One of my closest friends is Nigerian and to hear him and his friends speak of south African women!
But like I said, you have good examples of southy/niaja marriages so it'll work out better for you.

The problem is you can't always judge a persons character by his post/comments........meet them first.....Someone like me is very blunt and dnt have censure when I post.....Just be open minded and free...and give a chance to meet people..... people with genuine interest.

Guys solely interested in travelling to SA.

If only we had better leaders that can make possible, the following: enough better jobs, every sector working fine, constant power, better life, police, truly being your friend, cheap house rent, ability to secure loan easily without collateral......and off course, better database where every citizen info can be gotten, ability to buy a car with a minimal amount initial payment, and gradual minimal monthly payment, and the rest of the other goodies South Africans enjoy in their country, I bet this my Naija guys dropping contact, wouldn't even respond to this, when we have beautiful Naija babes here!

Naija get money and better resources pass South Africa na!

Why not give some parameters of the kind of man you have in mind ?
That will narrow down the number of prospective suitors and reduce the stress of perusing them
Stating your age is also a good start.

Uhmm, this is quite unnecessary, you'll come off as desperate. And most Nigerian guys will play you for your money and sex.

The best thing is to come to Nigeria (if you are not here), stay for a couple months...you'll get many guys after you to pick from, since you're quite pretty.

But this on here would only go bad and lead to yourself getting hurt.

So... the truth!

THIS was a total dare from a friend.

I have told a handful of people I met (that seemed to be "normal" wink

My stats on the entire process?

NOT A GOOD WAY TO MEET FUTURE HUBBY! Those who approached me thought I was some scam, one managed to track my Facebook account ( I was freaked out and subtly impressed) but I shut it down! The few I loaded on my WhatsApp did not last very long... Lol!
However!!! I made ONE good friend we spoke about his life and past love etc... it was nice to hear a man fess up about his feelings.
And there was another guy who I actual felt I got along with but he blocked me (Only God knows why)

Anyway... Thanx Nairalanders for the laughs.

And those in seek of love. DONT WORRY! IT will certainly find you
