I worked as an HR Practitioner for some years, doing recruitment. But my job did not allow me to administer test batteries because I was not a Registered Psychometrist. Yes I was working with Intern Psychologists and Psychologists. I realised that I enjoyed recruitment and selection and I also enjoyed the psychology contact if it but majority of the companies don't allow a Psychologist to administer and also do recruitment, they separate it. Psychologists administer batteries and then hand over to recruiters a report about candidates. I also did Training and development, boy I thoroughly enjoyed it. That being said I enjoyed all the aspects of the jobs, but I was not fulfilled.

Again I worked as a Counsellor for an NGO, I found the job to be interesting, but I hated counselling helpless woman. Again I didn't feel fulfilled.

That is when I decided in future for my Masters I will either go for Educational Psychology, or Clinical Psychology as a second choice.

Industrial Psychology, I didn't like Organisational development and change management. But I liked Recruitment and Selection. Though I was good in all. My performance management report was always 4/5 or 5/5

Now you see what I mean when I say I am not in a hurry. Making a choice is very hard for me.

Let's understand the various field of Psychology . What you cited was Organizational Psychology .

Am not sure if dat is available here in Nigeria but u can go for Masters in managerial psychology. I think OAU offers dat.

it's not really competitive cuz almost 50% my course mates didn't apply for psychology, they were given due to the fact that that they couldn't reach the cutoff of their course of choice

Alright bro. Um, one more thing: does UNILAG place any emphasis on how long one's WAEC result should be in terms of years? I mean, I got mine 2006 2007. Does it count or will I be disqualified?

don't think so, provided you have the required subjects to study psychology which is maths ,English ,biology and any other two subject, you should be good to go, bt I'll still help you re confirm

I'm glad a forum like this exists on here. I'm yet a graduate; studying off the shores of the country. In the past, I literally got weary as to why I'm not studying something different, until I knew psychology is evidently a path to most career.
