I will update my GTBank account and get the atm card ready for next year. Lack of functional account and inexperience made me missed all the items I already picked including Xiaomi redmi 4 prime.
I used three accounts. Mine, my brother's and my mother's. grin

There was a cap of 'not spending more than 100 dollars from a single account'. So I just spread money across three accounts. Got everything I needed.

Black Friday for naija na big scam don't even waste your time, I actually buy things cheaper at d market near me than that of konga or jumia black Friday. e.g. I bought dis 1 TB hard disk for 25k at d market for my areas but for konga Original price=38k
Blackfriday=35k.
so op, Nigerian black Friday is a scam

So I went to shoprite on Friday. On getting there by 8 am, I saw the place already jam-packed due to there dubious black Friday. It was when i got there that I know the black Friday slashes is only for like 5 products. One vegetable oil, joy soap, Colgate toothpaste and some soda. It was so pathetic. I kindly moved out with the friend I went it and told her this is not black Friday but expensive Friday. Milk and other groceries that I used to buy at a price were like 20 percent higher than the original price. I regretted I went sef. I jejely go to the market I used to buy my products and it was even cheaper. Shop rite is really for the rich

I got 5 items from Jumia: Two Max 3, Two Hot 4, and One W5 Lite. All items would be sold as I've set my sight on a Xiaomi phone from Aliexpress.

All I need now is 2 GTbank debit cards as I doubt Access is really 325 like a customer service rep said. angry

Nigga, you are getting me annoyed. Dont you get it? Jumia and Konga didn't reduce any price at all.

I wanted to buy laptop, phone and travelling bag , I checked their prices few weeks ago and penciled them down . On black Friday, they got more expensive. Common, we are not as daft as you think.

I just called a Friend, who is General Manager of a company and very IT-savvy. When I asked him about BLACK FRIDAY, he hissed. He told me it was an anti-climax. The popular companies completely lost the spirit of this concept imported from UK, EU and USA. Many of the sellers "did 419." They jacked up prices beyond normal and announced percentage reductions... no real bargains at all. At the end of the day, you ended up buying an item for its same old price, with virtually no price reduction. Is this true? Please, share your BLACK FRIDAY experience.
Very true. I had to cancel all my orders when I found out the real price
Re: Was Black Friday Worth All The Hype? by xandy84: 11:01am On Nov 27, 2016
Black Friday is over hype even in USA. I used to work in Walmart distribution center and i can tell you the Black Friday goods are specially packed from China and are low standard compare to regular goods sold by walmart.
