Are people still giving pastors money in the name of tithe

This church is now a business thing is calling for concern. What pains me the most is going to a church service to worship and from the beginning of the service till the end all you hear is money. I recently stopped going to church cause I am not learning anything new. I go with my pen and notepad every Sunday to learn but end up hearing same thing in different ways.

I know we still have good churches out there but these bad one are so much and are poisoning the mind of Christians.

The practices of tithes are of the Old Testament , now this pastors tells us that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law , yes it's in the bible really ! Now if Christ has redeemed us from the law which was that of Moses , why are we still tithing and not doing burnt offerings , cos last time I checked tithing and burnt offering was of the old law , and infact tithing was for the Levites , New Testament ways of giving was to give to the poor and needy and also to the growth of the church ..... In all the miracles of provisions in the bible they never gave tithe to receive , it's was an effortless provision , did the widow tithe before she received , did peter tithe before he caught a large amount of fish , receiving provision is by faith , believing God to supply all ur need .....if tithing was God way of blessing us , do u think we all will be millionaires in Nigeria ... Real faith is waiting patiently for God to act !!

Heaven knows I can never ever pay any pastor one naira even if I attend church multiple times in a week. Infact ehnn, Ill do it in a such a way that the pastors, ushers know that I intentionally don't pay.

Nigerians should wise up man. Give the needy your money or use it to buy what's needed by them not these scammers
