yeah we tried the outsider thing with JAMES IBORI. it did not work. what we need are righteous men irrespective of where they are in the world.

There's a difference between bringing in a man who had already been convicted for petty theft while working as a cashier in England, and asking for the help of someone as accomplished as Bayo Ogunlesi. The two kinds of "outsider" simply don't compare at all.

why are you like this now? Ahan! stop this hypocrisy or is it jealousy already. The man is a Nigerian according to Wikipedia.
Adebayo Ogunlesi is a Nigerian businessman. A 1979 graduate of Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School, he also studied at Oxford.

Lol. You can call him anything you want but he is definitely not Nigerian. Can you call obama kenyan? Only an American can hold any public position. Advisory or not.

Actually, the response of a retarde.d individual is to distract for the issues with insults. It is common with people with zero IQ. Have you had yours tested? I have. And it's quite high.

And just how well is the righteous (even self-righteous) Buhari working for the average Nigerian so far? Righteousness without competence or openness to new ideas can only carry you so far - look at Cuba under Fidel Castro.

Nigerians seem to always seem to prefer home based players when it comes to governnance. Who better to reform a system than an outsider with a different way of thinking? You can't solve a problem with the same type of thinking that caused it in the first place.

If i were Buhari, my entire cabinet from Ministry of Defense to Education would have been outsiders. The Nigerian way of thinking hasn't done much for us since independence but yet this leaders still keep trotting out the same names.

My brother, if it was constitutional or possible, I'd want Barack Obama or former UK prime minister to rule Nigeria by force or through elections

Obviously you don't understand how Wikipedia works. Just because it is on Wikipedia does not mean it is fact. But you still haven't answered my question. Can a non U.S citizen hold public office? And remember that the U.S does not recognize U.S citizenship. He denounced Nigeria the day he became one. Part of the process for his secret clearance was shredding his passport. Lol. Ogunlesi did not involving himself in Nigeria politics and that is why he cant be appointed into any political office. So my brother if na you wentin you go do?
If you are not appointed and you have been working tirelessly for the good of your nation and at the end of the day your party go and choose someone from no where as a minister will you be happy? Say the fact after all your contribution and support to make your party come to power...

Nigerias problem is not buhari. Nigerias problem is being a mono-economy. If all you sell is oil and then oil price goes from 100 to 40 what do you expect ? in fact the fact nigeria has not collapsed is testament to the effectiveness of buhari and kemi. all the countries in the world like nigeria who only depend on oil after the price dropped to 40 have all turned into anarchy. in venezuela now as we speak half the population is going through dustbins and looking for food. THIS IS FACTS. so the fact nigeria has not degenerated to the level of venezuela is testament to how GOD has blessed us with someone as effective as buhari

The guy does not hold public office for goodness sakes, he serves in an advisory for the president. In simpler words, the man is an adviser to Donald Trump.

thats my point, there is no such thing as a man of integrity. all these men who perform well abroad only do so because they are in a system that is sanitized. if you steal 1 kobo they will lock you up. its a no nonsense system. bring those men to naija and they will turn to common criminals. i have seen it happen many times. brilliant men abroad coming home and then turning to common thiefs. which is why i said we need righteous men, emphasis on righteous. matters not what their location is

True. But if our goverment was the serious kind then Ogunlesi would be the type of technocrat who would be appointed to head an economic recovery team.
In other words just for his pedigree and credentials alone, no serious government would pass up the opportunity to tap from his expertise.

Thank God he is not my tribe because when I saw the caption I was like NL will tear down because the moment Chukwu or Obinna shows up as the appointee my people will start their tribal rant oh we are the best, oh we are doing it all, oh we are the only one. But God I thank you its in other way and I'm sure my people has disappear from this thread definitely.

I'm happy and thank God for this appointment kudos to the guy and I wish him the best but that does not mean he will work in interest of Nigeria or bent on to work in interest of Nigeria far from it he was appointed to serve America interest not Nigeria interest and he must adhere to the rule and the instruction orelse exit door wide open.

I only celebrate him and congratulate him simply he is a Nigeria not because I'm expecting him to do the mistake of trying to play Nigeria in his position not at all. God bless.

This is the exact mentality that is killing Nigeria? Do you know how many people on that advisory body that voted and even spoke against Trump, yet he still brought them on.

In Nigeria, instead of going out and get the best minds possible you go and hire party insiders who know nothing about running an economy. The Ministry of finance are such amateurs its not even funny. This guys don't even seem to have a plan. They are just running up and down putting out fires.

Buhari's job is not to show favoritism but to look for talent and competence wherever he can find it.

This and such like him are the one Nigeria President (present & past) should have invited in helping in bridging good advice in solving the problem of this country.

But, instead what we have is government of rogues and robbers taking the loots all the time and yet they were never satisfied.

How can one compare this man profile to that of Saraki, Obanikoro, Bode George, Ibori, Ibru, Tinubu, Fayoshe and all the rest. No wonder the saying is always "there's different between gold & aluminium"

Creed has certainly eaten so deep into our past & present leaders and politicians. With all the money that Atiku has gotten illegally, all you could still see in him is how to steal more and throw is weight around and intimidate people. No single quality you can find in him except STEALING.

Awon oloshi gbogbo.
