Good day all,pls I need your candid advice. I started following this thread few days back.
There is an immigration agent I contacted for Australia PR.(NEW WORLD IMMIGRATION)
The Nigerian agent said their fee is 2500 US Dollar.
I don't know if they are real, and the money too is on the high side.
Is it possible to do it without using immigration agent(lawyer)?
Please I need assistance ,anyone who can help out.
Thanks

quote author=dunsinogundele post=51721403]Finally I got my ITA this morning after waiting for roughly 4 weeks. All required docs including PCC and medical is ready(thanks to Bnimz).

Please is it possible to continue filling the visa application and pay later?, or I have to pay first before anything can be done. Please advice before I click on the "Apply Visa" on my EOI.

Also anyone that can assist to pay in Oz should PM me, I am more than willing to credit the naira equivalent to your naira account, visa fee is $7,200.

Thanks.[/quote]

Forgery....since it was explicitly stated that the docs must bear the coy's letterheading with fax no, phone no, address, website etc on EA's MSA.

ol boy, 2500 USD is already about half the entire expenditure for a single person. from A - Z.

i'm at the last stage and I havent spent 2000 USD yet.

This thing is something you can run on your own like most of us..

but if you dont feel confident enough to handle the process on your own, i'm sure we have many Ogas in the house wey go gree be your agent for much less

Well, payslip na payslip.. if you cant get something that matches their specifications completely, you submit what you have and leave them to decide... Afterall employment letter dey.... if they are not sure, the worst they can do is to refuse to recognize your employment..

You'll still get assessed for your qualification.

Lastly, which state or territory is accepting nomination for MLT currently and the visa category as I don't want to waste time.
NB: MLT is only on CSOL while Medical Laboratory Scientist is only both SOL and CSOL.

Northern Territory and Queensland.. visa 190 .. A.C.T. is closed for the rest of the programme year.

Both states require proof of funds though. I think..

Thanks bro for the response. What's A.C.T? Should I just select ALL on the EOI since I can't choose two at a time?

How much do I need to show in my account for proof?

It will be easier to use the engineer route. I also have chemical engineering for undergrad and 10 plus experience in other roles. I did my assessment and got positive assesment as a chemical engineer despite this. I guess it depends on the quality of your CDR. Another advantage is the occupation ceiling never fills up so getting an invite is sharp sharp. I got invited with 60points just after one day of expressing my eoi. IT is too competitive
@malkinburg pls can i get a copy of ur CDR i am also a graduate of chemical Engineering without experience

You should get bureau guys in your area.

Vetassess na one kin organisation- so rigid. Be sure you meet all their requirements. If the sponsoring provincestates says 7 , then you need to rewrite.
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by sunvick(m): 7:33am On Dec 08, 2016
Chief the ielts of Band 7 specified as a requirement is for each band and not overall. I doubt this your result will scale thru thou. I will suggest you rewrite to score at least 7 on each band or you try pte.

#my 2 cent.

If the sponsoring states require that you have a band 7, then, you MUST rewrite the English examination. You also need to be sure if they're asking for 7 overall or 7 in each module.

Interestingly, the two "both" of us are omo Ibadan.
So, you can infer from this why our default outlooks to life are similar.

Hello guys, I got my assessment today by Australian Institute of Medical Scientists but unfortunately, I was assessed as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) instead of Scientist (MLS). Though, am thinking of applying for re-assessment.

Also, I claimed 5 years 1 month work experience which they acknowledged and stated that it equates to work at an appropriately skilled level. They however stated that they've assessed me as MLT with more than 3 years of experience. So, am I suppose to stick to the 5 years 1 month or more than 3 years experience?

Lastly, which state or territory is accepting nomination for MLT currently and the visa category as I don't want to waste time.

NB: MLT is only on CSOL while Medical Laboratory Scientist is only both SOL and CSOL.

Thanks guys and am looking forward to your response
Aims recognised your whole experience. You can only apply as mlt, mls is open for those that passes the assessment examination
For now, northern territory and queensland are sponsoring mlt. My advice is to go for queensland. They are fast in their turn around time and can sponsor you for 190. NT will give u only 489 after about 3 months of applying with them.
In terms of the proof of funds for queensland, you are only required to show proof of a certain amount. Build your acct and you are good to go.
Cheers.

What you need to do is read this thread. If you read, you don't need any other help.

However, if you think you can't do it or you are lazy to do it on your own, we can take up the challenge.

E too quick you bro......lol. I have been pleading on this forum for AUD/Naira swap for up to a month now, still no luck. Even Oga Bellong done help put mouth for the matter sef one time like that.

This is December, I believe guys are sending money home or coming down in persons. May be they prefer converting their AUD via others means rather than helping us here ni.

I'm sure they couldn't have been bringing AUD down here, the rate they will get will be ridiculous.

Oga bellong, we really need you to help pull guys over there into this matter o. It pays to help!

This is going to create a problem in this section, i completely understand the temptation to make money out of this but the moment we start collecting money in exchange for our knowledge the idea behind this thread will be defeated.

People in other threads helping out as you are doing here will also start doing the same and i will not have any justification to stop visa agents here from advertising their business.

Please think about it.
