Yes I know many of you met each other and got married here but for few of us who are still new to the whole online dating and the way nairaland is now with kidults. Do you think dating a nairalander is safe?

Nairaland is like any other place one can meet his or her partner. Schools, markets, restaurants, offices, car parks, churches, mosques, streets and so on. Nairalander are the same ppl you see in your street. That guy you have been eyeing in your area, yes, that guy, know him right? He might be reading your thread right at this moment. As regards some relationship gone sour on here, it can happen even when you meet in church, and the whole ugly thing blown to the faces of your church members, but it doesn't make every of your church member a bad person in relationships.

So yes, it is safe to date anywhere including nairaland. Just know when and how much of your investment you are putting into that relationship. So that when it crashed, you won't be too hurting.
