@KaptainAfricaa: The truth is that your friends unfortunately chose the wrongest time to try the Naija way. What Herriko calls 'make america gr9 again syndrome' and I call 'Trump Fever' is In full effect. If it was before, the guy would have pitied them . Did you say the same guy interviewed them twice? That's wrong o! My dear, we are in unchartered waters. They can decide to try again and have another vo interview them. They can pray for a democrat to interview them . Note: this advice is selfish. I just wan use them learn the new levels at the embassy. My independent opinion is that they shud count their losses and try brazil |

My thoughts exactly. The way she described the man, I was like this one is a republican. She wants to try again and "come clean with her intent" (54,400, that can be invested in eMeMeM). I'm sure Abuja applicants can testify, the man is oldest of the four Visa Officers, and the toughest, the other V.O's are more patient. These Visa Officers are civil servants, and if there's anything we share in common (not all the time ) is eye-service, especially with new @Oga at the tops ![]() I just told them to come clean, so that at least anyhow, it will be on record that they came clean, visa released or rebuked. As for change of intent. What if u got a visa for child birth and decide not to have a child again in the US. Is there a need to write to the embassy for change of intent as vacation 6months after having your child in Nigeria. |

Yeah it would seem so. But I'm the one on nairaland. My friend is not. Nice investigative work though. If only we had someone like you in EFCC, we would have recovered our stolen loot since. I would still appreciate your input, if you have any. Cheers! ![]() justwise: |

What you can do with free time on your hands ( I appreciate all those have helped, I'm grateful). Selective picking of evidence to support your case will make you a good naija policeman not DSS .nefertitiram: |

If you said Nigerian police, you would be more accurate. They arrest you for looking guilty. ![]() Austine2020: |

KaptainAfrika:I really don't understand this..why do you find it difficult to state clearly that you are the one in this case rather than referring to non-existing friend? You answered your own question in your reply to LadyGuinivere's post, so follow your own advice. |

Well this one is tacky but if they intend to apply again they shouldn't go to the same embassy or consulate used in the previous 2. My take though KaptainAfrika: |

I am not the one who needs the advice. I felt I should get additional opinions on a matter. If I needed the advice myself, it would make more sense for me to say I need this advice for myself; my friend is married to my cousin, I could have said bro, come to nairaland and search for the answers you seek yourself, instead I offered to help out as I have been on this platform for sometime. I benefited from this platform when applying for my own tourist visa. Sir, take a piece of advice, if you will - don't jump to conclusion because a certain always happens (ironic that we complain about this from Visa Officers). You have not contributed to the matter, but you have only succeeded in derailing the help needed. I came in humility to the pro's, and asked for advice, if you have none, kindly stand aside or step aside, thanks. Happy Sunday! justwise: |

Thanks. I hope they agree. I have to munch all the responses. Its not by force to born in the US. Wole Soyinka wasn't born there, but he has a green card (free of charge, I think?) chibertha: |

Greetings to everyone. I should have come back earlier to share but somehow I did not. Anyway I am doing that now. For those who can’t remember or perhaps do not know at all, this moniker had earlier dropped an album which you can reference on page 299 of Part 4. I think every track was a hit back to back. DW and I have successfully completed our missionary journey to the Glory of God. We got back few weeks now and it’s time to share. I will post thus: Introduction: Port Health, Part 1 - ‘POE Experience’, Part 2 - ‘Others’ (which include stories on Flights- local and international, Accommodation, Documentation – US passport, baby visa and Bills). |

Hello my good people. Your case is different has started working for me already. I was able to scout for just $1063 from lagos airport @400/dollar. I went to the airport a day before my flight and on the day of my flight to buy from the bureau d change at arrival wing of the airport, as people were selling $ to them I was buying from them, even approached people arriving to sell to me. I arrived USA via jfk with KLM. No fit to fly was requested (travelled at 30weeks) Flight experience was good, enough to drink when requested for, friendly hostesses. I had extra 3 seats that I used as bed |

Waaooouw! @ ur Testimony Mphil. ‘If you don’t mind, you can stay at our home, you don’t need to go to a hotel. We would drive you to the hotel when you have eaten and are well rested to get a refund.’ We were stunned to say the least at the offer because we didn’t know them from anywhere neither did they know us from anywhere.' Chai! I tap into this oo. God bless ur hosts and grant them their heart desires. God bless ur family and ur beautiful favoured princess. Chanbaby, I thank God for ur testimony too. Can't wait to share mine too. This is a blessed Week ahead...I can already feel it. Halleluyah Somebody! Cheers. |
