Single ladies are not more than single guys. I'm not limiting the scope to RCCG Congress.
1). The standard for eligibility and success is different.
1a).For you to be an eligible bachelor you must work hard, have a good paying job, accommodation and proven ability to provide for your family.
1b). For women; look good. If you don't have it, apply makeup. If you don't have the money, ask the men for it . Buy good clothes. You don't need all the accomplishments demanded of the men. God dey.
2). Unsuccessful men, by materialistic standard are anonymous; bus conductors, gardeners, security guards, etc. They don't get counted when census of single men are taken
3). Age. Men can afford to wait and add to the census of bachelors; even men in their forties. Women have shorter shelf life in the marriage wait room. Women in their 30s are ridiculed.
4). Women wait longer these days to pursue education, carrier, passion, etc.
5). Choice - women can now set standard for themselves about their choice for life partner. Such choice have raised the bar for male eligibility. Some women would rather not marry than marry and face the subservient life experienced by our mothers. Such women are counted among the number of single women.

I already did a research on this and I figured - Women have always out numbered the male population because of constant wars male engaged in since the dark ages through to both WW1 and WW11.

Since the last decade the male population has really increased since no too much wide spread of wars which requires the male folks engage in. But in the middle East, women are still more compared to Men because of the War on terrorism men in the Middle East engage in.

Another reason is the fact that girls develop fastest than boys... A man of 30 years prefer to date a girl or marry a girl of 20 to 25...leaving his female age mate behind...
