hahahaahhahah oh my God!!!!! If thats what you call math then you're so wrong, those are elective courses. we are talking of courses like Real analysis, Modern and abstract algebra, topology etc those are the core for ms math degree (where you wan get youtube video for that one) and they are freakin hard. Last time i checked Esther is in more of the statistics option.
Tods thank you so much jare.. I was about giving the guy like 7 pages of reply before i saw yours jare. Some people will just carry their mouth come here kon dey run wetin them no know. I talked to Esther in the beginning of this semester and she was like mehnn she respect me for the couses i am doing. That she can't even do them. i doubt if she can even do 5000 level analysis without complaining not to talk of 6000 analysis. In a nutshell, I think she's just doing all this management mathematics ... I doubt if she's doing the real mathematics.(pure and applied mathematics). This guy's reply sound insulting and i can insult him back. let me wake up

hey tods. yall and akin will be fine. it use to be like that during the first semester. As time goes on yall will be used to it. Moreover you guys did mathematics in your undergrad. So that should be more of a relieve. I am into mathematical statistics and real analysis is not part of my required courses.

lol. your reply got me laughing. I do math and statistics. So there is nothing like management mathematics. No course is easy, they are all challenging. So you can't say statistics is easy. Maybe you should come try Statistical programming with R or SAS and let me know if it is a piece of cake

Is it advisable I say I've been working with my dad(he's the sponsor) and I also got a certificate in computer engineering at lagos city computer college, when the consular asks "what have you been doing since you left high school" as I've left high school since 2009 and I'm applying for an f1 student visa?
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 10 by OjaP: 7:46am On Dec 17, 2016
In the last two semesters; I have taken Optimization methods, Integer programming, and Probability and statistics with R as part of my classes. I find the statistics and probability with R class more challenging. Personally, I think any one who can do well in an advanced statistics class is smart enough and would do well in any complex mathematics classes. So I think hardeorlah won't find the complex maths classes difficult.

But truth be told, mathematics is so difficult. I didn't get to know until now. I thought I'd seen it all with the math's classes I took in my undergrad and the GRE maths. I think the real maths classes are the graduate level ones.

Hey calm down. I didn't insult you. Can't you use some advice. So you mean to tell me some YouTube video won't be helpful in your course? So all the courses I mentioned aren't part of your courses you will be taking to graduate in Mathematics? Were you expecting I would list all of them?

The people that studied with you are kind people. In graduate school, no one have time for the other except you came from same country. I was only sorry that you had to go through the stress of asking for such favor.

Bro, mathematics is a natural skill. There are young lad that crack adult mathematics. For you to continue in mathematics, you must have had flair for it. At least, none of this should be new to you at Master levels.

But like I said, it is good you were able to pull through

I've actually been working with my dad(a senior manager at NCC,technical research and standards and a mobile phone distro)wanna study computer engineering ...so,should I go ahead and talk about working with him with the VO?...
yes..
7yrs is much, so u have an awful lot to tell the VO.. Like happyday has said, tell them u have been working in ur dad's company and also the role u play there.. U might want to also tell them how the degree will help u be a better engineer when u come back to ur Dad's company. You have to demonstrate Home ties.

Can't you remove your dad from the equation and say where you have been working since 2009 and your intended educational pursuit will help you to lead in your workplace when you come back to the country

Morning guyz, plz i need u to describe how to get to the US consulate from CMS...I believe knowing how to locate the place would also ease my tension on that day....

learn to use the search button on top.... i havent been to the embassy by bus so cant tell u how to get there but blc u have posted this multiple times i used the search button on top and it took me a second to find some answers others had posted previously .

Post 1: At CMS you get there take another bus going to BONNY camp and stop at check point bus stop and cross to other side of the road then you will see a gate enter and that is the car park of the us embassy and ask them or you walk down straight to the embassy

post 2: Get to cms, then take ozumba mbadigwe
Once the bus turns at that bonny camp roundabout to face ozumba, yell embassy wa o.
Walter carrington is the first turning on the left, you will see decent looking touts arranging spaces for cars to park

a post adviced: Please if you are going to the US embassy Okada is the worst mistake you will make to enter because it seems they work hand in hand with the Police. If you not driving or not going with a Cab it is safer to enter a bus.

if your mum says u have taken it as a child then if she can remember when then its best to get a stamp instead of retaking

thought of that but also think since it's an undergraduate degree (associate degree) and I have just O'level and a computer engineering certificate I'd be a little "off" to talk like a "professional"

if they have money to invest in mmm, why cant they use it to go into agriculture? Where u r doing an actual business, with peace of mind instead of puting money where things can be very uncertain..

That is the basic question. We have thrown away our value system and delayed gratification is now a crime in Nigeria. While I agree governance is bad back home, our greed and penchant to get rich quick is alarming.

Hopefully, I will meet with you when I come to UNT in February. Denton is nice and the school has so many Nigerians although most of them grew up in the states. You sure would enjoy the city.

no jare i never said your course is easy, however, everyone here knows what's going in mathematics and statistics. i got friends in statistics who keep telling me how hard mathematics is. anyone can come from any major to do statistics but if you are doing mathematics, one must have a solid background in courses like analysis, algebra, PDE/ODE. This guy got me angry by comparing someone with me. thats so insulting. Why would he be saying someone that does not have a math background is getting an A, or saying something like i am suppose to be leading my class. And who told him i didnt get A in all my courses ? The fact that i faced challenges at the beginning doesn't mean i didn't get a good grade. i will chat you up somewhere else jare my sister.
