‘Please check your email’ that had been Mercy’s response to him on WhatsApp, when he sent her the message that the results confirmed that the baby was his.

He switched over to his email app and refreshed the screen, his heart filling with dread.

I did tell you that I was sure that the baby was yours. I never had any doubt, but you did. Which is fair enough, you did what I expected of you by asking for a test.

Unfortunately accidents like this happen. The last two occasions we were together, the condoms malfunctioned, they were yours. If they had been my condoms you might have thought that I was playing dirty deliberately trying to get pregnant with your child.

So here we are, we have made a baby together.

As I have mentioned before, having a baby at this point in time does not fit into my plans or my life style at all.

I will be able to come and see the baby as I wish, after all this is what men do when they leave the woman to care for their children.

I would advise you, to start making the necessary arrangements required for having a new baby living with you. You will also need to start getting ready mentally to take on the role of being Father and Mother to this baby.

Once the baby starts showing I will be going on holiday somewhere where I will stay till the baby is born. You will pay me $10,000, for all the inconvenience and expenses I will be going through and incur during this time. Please note that the amount stated above might increase.
