Just a piece of advice regarding health insurance in Czech Republic that is mandatory for all Nigerians. The price of health insurance (for the same product) can be very different even for the same insurance companies. Use this site to learn about the prices on the market: https://calc.pojisteni-cizincu.eu/pojisteni-cizincu/
Thanks for sharing.

First... What course are you applying for?

Second... Which Academic session are you looking into?

Third... You'll need to Legalize your documents at Ministry of Education and Foreign Affairs and Super-Legalized them at the Czech Embassy for Nostrification at MendelU... Any further question?

I've responded to your question thrice but to no avail. The documents depend on the course of study, sometimes on the faculty and even on the department, however, the main documents are: Your BSc Cerrtificate, your BSc transcript, Your NECO or WAEC certificate, your data page of international passport, sometimes reference or recommendation letter, motivational letter and of course your application fee. I hope this piece is helpful? Cheers!!!

Hello, I would really appreciate it if someone can help me out with some information. I have been trying to register for my visa appointment at the Czech embassy, but I have not got any slot yet. I understand from their website that happens sometimes. What I would like to know is do I just randomly check for slots until I get one or are there specific times that there are openings? Asking just in case someone has had the same problem. Thank you.

Hello joanokuhon the best thing i feel you should do now is to contact the international relations office of the school and explain things to them, and also you may need to call your programme's director or coordinator too. These guys are honest and friendly and always are there to help. The truth is they like it when you get them involved. Try to make them see reasons with you why you should have an extension for the recognition of your document. They understand these things and i'm sure you will get through it because many have. Goodluck. Cheers!!!

Hello everyone,

I must say that with only 10 pages on this thread the amount of information it contain is mind blowing, I think each and everyone are doing a great job sharing information both for guys in Czach and our brothers in Nigeria. I would like to suggest if those people who have gone or will be going for their visa interview at the Czech embassy can be sharing more information on what they were asked so other can learn and be well prepare in regards to that aspect. More insight need to be share about the legalization process as well as life in Czech in Nigeria.

Thanks once again and keep the dream alive and strong. Good luck everyone!!!!

Good evening Everybody,

I really appreciate all the contributions I've gotten on here as I have learnt on or two things from various views.

However, am in a dilemma and i will like to get your opinion and help proffer a solution, PLEASE!

I possess an HND in Estate Management and Valuation, and i will like to further my education in Europe (Except UK and Cyprus). However, I will not like to start from the B.sc level all over again (age issues, am still less than 30 though), I don't mind joining a B.sc programme in the 3rd year though or a Pre-masters programme.

PLEASE, I beg you all to HELP ME!

Kindly suggest, a course withing this my line or any management programme in an affordable country (Tuition basically)...

Thank you so much!! your contributions are highly appreciated!

THIS POST IS FOR MY TOMAS BATA APPLICANTS AND THOSE WHO WANT TO UNDERGO THE LETTER OF RECOGNITION PROCESS

Good day everyone, I'm posting here to know if anyone would be going for visa interview soon before the end of December.. I got a place at Tomas Bata University in Zlin and i was giving this deadline to provide a letter of recognition. At first i thought it was the superlegazilation done at the embassy but honestly its not. I was asked to contact the regional office in zlinsky about the recognition. I came to realize that to get a letter of recognition two major process are involved..

1. Either you have an address in Czech Republic (YOU CURRENTLY RESIDE IN CZECH)
2. Some has to do this for you which means You get a letter of attorney legalized by ministry of education, foreign affairs and super legalization at the embassy..

NOTE: Recognition normally takes 30 days to process and in most difficult cases 60 days. My own advice is for those of you who don't have someone located in the state of zlin, please go on facebook (https://web.facebook.com/BuddySystemZlin/) Contact them and ask for an assistance and insist they help you with someone from zlin. I was offered help but my guy is from Oloumocky and lives in zlin, with that my recognition would take 45days sad still waiting 33days gone...

Documents needed for recognition
1. HIGH SCHOOL TESTIMONIAL
2. HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT
3. LETTER OF ATTORNEY
4. CERTIFIED WAEC COPY ACCOMPANIED WITH ORIGINAL
5. PASSPORT DATA PAGE
6. 100O CZK AS WHEN I DID MINE THOUGH

PS: 1-4 HAS TO BE LEGALIZED BY THE MINSITRY OF EDUCATION, FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND SUPERLEGALIZED AT THE EMBASSY BEFORE YOU CAN SEND FOR RECOGNITION..
AFTER THAT WAIT FOR YOUR LETTER OF RECOGNITION TO BE FORWARDED TO THE PERSON GIVING YOUR ASSISTANCE IN CZECH..

PAY SCHOOL FEES
VISA INTERVIEW AND HOPEFULLY VISA GRANTED
FIINISH

REMEMBER TO GO THROUGH THE EMBASSY WEBSITE AND READ THROUGH THE VISA REQUIREMENTS

Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by dcitizen: 2:35pm On Dec 20, 2016
let me begin with two categories of applicants- Bsc and Master degree applicants.

Bsc Degree Applicants:

1. you need to have you wassce or o level result with relevant credits in the required subjects for the relevant courses.

2. you need to have your testimonial from your previous secondary school.

3. you need to take your wassce result or certificate and testimonials with scratch card to the Ministry of Education(Abuja) for authentication first and consecutively, you need to apply for the confirmation of result from the same ministry.later proceed to the Ministry of Foreign Affair(Abuja) for legalisation of both authenticated documents ( copy of the wassce result or certificate and the original of confirmation of result).

4. you need to take the legalised documents to the Czech Republic Embassy for superlegalisation. you need to take note of the time and date for superlegalisation process.

5. you need to send your document to the university of your choice to help you with the process of nostrification or recognition of your wassce result with the confirmation. alternatively, you can hand over your document to trusted hands in the Czech Republic to help you with the process of nostrification at the ministry of education, youth and sport.

Bsc Degree Applicant with High School Result and Transcript.

1. you need to visit your former secondary school and get your high school result with transcript and statement indicating the number of credit hours completed during your high school study.

2. follow #5 process to get your nostrification at the ministry of education in the Czech Republic.

remember, if you are qualified for the Bsc degree programme , you will be given offshore or online entrance exams depending on the policies of the universities for selection processes

you need to ask me the questions here from the admission process to visa application process so that other can benefit from the responses to couple of questions. I will be your guide from the start to finish.

There is a very vibrant student life in Brno depending on your preference. The presence of Erasmus students from other countries in the European Union and partner universities outside the union add glamour and glitz to the vibrancy and richness of student population community.

To succeed in Mendel university, you must be a self-motivated and studious student. The semester is divided into two blocks and each of the blocks lasts for 6 weeks and immediately after that is examination. sometimes, there is a credit test or project that you must pass before you can take the final examination. you need to have soft skills especially, ability to use the internet for research purpose and other skills like Microsoft word, excel, power point and outlook. such skills will make your life much more easier

There are jobs opportunities too over here especially customer services and information technology position in Brno, which is the fastest growing technology city of the South Moravia.

what i know about Brno is that the benefit of studying in the city is far more than the cost.
Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by dcitizen: 8:55pm On Dec 20, 2016
@ olayode, you need to start the process of your visa application as quickly as possible for early resumption and graduation.

Visa Application Process:

1. Your visa application document need to be complete. Some of the document include your birth certificate ( in English Language), admission letter (in Czech Language) from the school, contract for accommodation(in Czech Language), police report(in Czech Language), medical certificate( in Czech Language), personal and sponsorship bank statement with A.T.M card ( in English Language), medical insurance from czech republic and letter of sponsorship (in Czech language), tuition fee payment evidence and completed online application form. Be prepared for short interview questions at embassy and if you are successful, you will be given six month visa in 3 or 4 weeks
