MMM is dependent on new people being recruited from the down lines to keep the ponzi scheme going. Because if new people don't come in, the cycle stops. Plus, once you get paid you are going to spend from it and then go find more money to contribute in other to get a bigger return. And to get a bigger return many more people need to be recruited.
