randomperson:You so like thinking anyone runs from you. On the contrary the stench of your ignorance is so pungent one has no choice but to beat a hasty retreat. I simply do not want to argue as this is not debatable. Even you with your little intelligence ought to know this. The plaque put up on capitol building for Samuel Morse says it all and historians and telecoms experts worldwide know this and they all agree that without Morse there would have been no them. Without morse the idea of the transatlantic cable would not have come. Without morse , Braille for the blind would not be existing as its the same technology. Without Morse, receiving communication through a skin buzzer for the deaf and blind would not have been a reality. Without morse NOKIA would not have existed. Without morse your famous SOS signal would not be there. Without morse your modern day internet nd 3G or 4G would be nowehre to be found or fibre optic cables would be non existent. Without morse your FM or AM radio would be non existent. The list is endless. This is why debating you is a waste of brain space for me or anyone else. Like i said, pocket your argument or lodge it in the bank |

4everGod:So by suppressing knowledge about communication, god suppressed medical knowledge leading to deaths of probably millions of people... God is truly good... And u haven't answered, what changed that God stopped suppressing knowledge |

jonbellion:Lol, religion just deludes people, and I think one of the reasons these religious people fail to question their beliefs is because they are scared of burning in hell for eternity (the nightmare I had as a kid)... Coming up though, 'what indoctrination did to me as a little kid and why children shouldn't be taught religion as" real" but a "fairy tale".. ' When I think of hell now, I just laugh, realizing I once feared being burnt for eternity ![]() |

jonbellion:Evolution is not a fact . Its a theory with so many assumptions . Even atheist Raelns speak against evolution and support intelligent design . Anyone speaking against evolution is being skeptical - which is a good thing Many ignorant atheists who support evolution do so because they believe that it questions God's existence not because the theory is factual while obviously it does not question God's existence |

benzics:Nobody gives a hoot about your experiences as a child . Keep it to yourself . That's how you embarrassed yourself on Sunday with this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3525380/why-theists-deists-cant-tell Very poor arguments and rebuttals . It is apparent you were ignorant of what you believed when you were a Christian , so yes you were indoctrinated. Indoctrinate : teach (a person or group) to accept a set of beliefs uncritically. My parents never indoctrinated me , I was allowed to ask questions , seek answers and analyze critically . I was given books , the internet at a very young age . So generalizing with your new thread is logically fallacious . |

4everGod:Can u read or u only know how vomit programmed responses.... Who said Morse code isn't important?? But where is the proof that it was god that instigated that particular innovation... It's pure folly to suggest god caused inventions. If u remove the god factor, these inventions would still have happened perhaps at a faster pace. The Egyptians of old invented things without the Christian god, so did the Babylonians, the Greeks, Persians and Romans... If the only response you can come up with us Morse code is this, Morse code is that, then don't bother because that doesn't prove the part god played in the actual discovery... But if u can surprise us and come up with something intelligent, we will be pleasantly surprised |

randomperson:People who dabble in programming parade themselves as programmers . I really don't know why I was good in C++ and C in my 100 and 200 L and I've got a smattering of other languages but I don't call myself a programmer . You are a programmer when you start developing computer software with programming languages . |
